I definitely feel anxious about this (hey, grad student here) - did she just burn the last surviving copy of that book? Seriously?!

No, I don’t think that Roslin burned the last copy. We know that Gaeta at least had a copy that he used when researching Kobol for Adama. Adama also has a copy since he’s able to read the texts in the old language. Also, Galactica has the Colonial library on discs from the Pegasus, both load in their computer and in disc form.
There are also priests in the fleet that have copies of the gospels and scrolls on hand. Plus, there are probably people in the fleet that have copies.
So, Roslin’s probably only burning the waterlogged copy that she got from Elosha. Wow, that book has been through a lot.

Wow! Such an awesome podcast! So many cool interviews, it’s–it’s insane! Ron Moore! You actually talked to Ron Moore!! And the other interviews were awesome, especially Michelle’s and um Kat’s (can’t remember the actress’s name).
Such an awesome episode too. When Dee walked into the officers quarters and started humming that line. . . I just knew she was going to off herself (though I thought she’d use a knife, for some reason). It was so freaky. She was such a beloved character too (and very attractive).
You know, I was just thinking, does the prophecies actually say Roslin will lead them to Earth? I thought they just say “the promised land” or something. That’d square with Roslin still being alive when they found Earth. You know, I wonder if they’ll head back to Kobul, if that’s the promised land.
