I just gave this up and started reading books again. Can’t seem to play this game with any restraint. 
Should have hooked up with some GWC’ers when I was still in the swing of things, its best when you play with friends.
I just couldn’t get into WoW… literally. First account got banned. Years pass and I recently tried to get into it again and was promptly banned… again.
First time I was banned was an accuisation of being a gold farmer/spammer and being directly involved in the RMT buiness. How Blizzard came to that conclusion I’ll never understand.
Second time I was banned (just yesterday) was for:
Account Action: Closure
Reason for Action: In-Game Chat Policy Violation - Advertisement and Spamming
Okay, two quick things.
One. Anyone who’s playing and looking for a guild, me and a few close friends are all on the Azgalore server (Alliance) and Dragonmaw (Horde). If you’re interested in very casual gaming, lemme know.
Two. Leveling a new Dranie pally toon after drinking a bottle of wine is actually more fun than I thought it would be. I hope I don’t regret drinking and posting

I just got my second character to level 80 so that’s been fun, now I get to gear her up (and currently, the variety is ridiculous, it makes me laugh).

I just restarted my account in preparation for Cataclysm as well. Question for any potential GWC WoW’ers if we were to fire up a guild:
- Horde or Alliance?
- What server is everyone on? Recommendations?
My answers:
- Horde/Earthen Ring(RP): Got my level 80 Blood Elf Hunter there.
I used to be part of the alea iacta est guild, but since the patch their guild is too big for the server rules, so I won’t be able to get back in. At any rate, playing with GWC’ers would be so much more fun! If the popular vote is for Alliance, I’d be willing to roll a new character; its been a while since I’ve seen the hallowed halls of Ironforge - my last Alliance character was a 55 Night Elf Hunter (probably still around somewhere), which I only ever played for the first few months when I joined WoW oh-so-many years ago.
Few more years until Jarathen, Jr. is old enough to ignore so I can go on raids.
But don’t think I’m not looking forward to taking time off work in 2015 while he’s at school to play World of WarCraft 2.
All of the characters I actually play are Alliance on Uldaman, but I have a few low-level (like, below 20) hordies on Quel’thalas. I’d be up for re-rolling on a new server, though, to have some GWC peep play time. I’m an Ally girl, but I know Aset’s Horde4life so we may have to flip a coin
Couple things, I would also vote for Earthen Ring, Horde I play there as well. AIE however is working on work arounds for the cap. If you are interested in coming back that will not be an issue. If you do start a guild I certainly have a character or 2 that can join.
I’d actually vote for a new server for everyone so we start fresh, but if the majority wants to go with somewhere they already have toons, that’s fine too.
Also, I’m a fairly casual player, it takes me forever to level and I love questing and explorings and whatnot. So yeah sure I have 2 80s, one of whom is ICC-raid geared (and with the elemental invasion!! my 2nd 80’s gear is not sucking anymore), but really what have I had most fun doing? Loremaster!
So really I’d just enjoy having the chance to hang out while killing internet dragons with you guys
Okay. I’ve never played this, but have heard so much about it. Would I be completely lost if I started now?
WoW is very easy to pick up and play. If you can also get in with some GWCers, you’ll be grinding in no time.
Hey guys, well I have Alliance 80s on Azgalor, and Horde 80s on Dragonmaw, but I’m totally planning on rolling a new Worgen toon. I’m pretty casual these days, and would be happy to split my time between my guild homies (guys I’ve largely known from highschool in Vic) and my GWC homies. Happy to go Ally for the GWC guild, but I’d be happy to see what the Goblin starting zone would be like as well if we decide to go Horde.
All in all, I’m in! (and have warned my CEO that I’m taking the 7th off for Cata. Definitely not in the geek closet at work!)

Not at all! This is actually a pretty good time to get started, since there’s a new expansion coming out with new races available to play, so almost everyone I know is planning on rolling a new character, too
digital download? I’m going to go that way I think, though with the 2 WoW players in this house, the other one wants the box and stuff…
I reactivated my account a few weeks ago in prep for Cataclysm. I have an 80 Ally Warrior on Kil’jaden but I got kicked from my guild for inactivity (stopped to play STO), so I don’t have a prob changing servers. I’m pretty a pretty casual player and have just been doing the dungeon finder since reactivating my toon.
I’ll keep an eye on this thread to see what everyone else decides to do. I’m happy to be playing again, I’d forgotten how much fun this game is.
