Just wanted to let you guys know that you can have REAL BSG DOG TAGS, customized with your callsign on it from Quantum Mechanix.

Granted, they’re a bit pricey at 50 bucks, but they seem to be the real stuff, you know the thick ones that they use on the show, I bought Starbuck tags a year ago or so from ebay and they were just a cheap rip off, it was a cheaper metal that didn’t have that cool tarnished look.

I’m definitely looking into getting Icebox tags…

BTW - as far as call sign is concerned…Chuck has taken to calling me Stephanie…but other than that…I dunno. I use a different call sign over on Colonial Fleet.

My callsign would have to be Looney.

For the obvious avatar reasons (big, BIG fan of the Tunes) and, because, well, I’m clearly insane. I’m not talking Starbuck insane, but I bring a little crazy to the table. Nothing wrong with that. Nope.

At least I don’t dream of rivers and boats and opera houses.

My callsign for flight sims and such was always GryphonRider or Gryphon so I think that’d fit. Unless anyone else has a better idea?

I need a callsign–any suggestions? I thought of Crumbs, because they’d scrape the pans and sweep under the tables before choosing me to be a pilot.

Hmmm decisions, decisions. My initial thought was bunny, but there are lots of bunnies (heck there are 18 of us going to Dragon*Con). Bambie is kinda cool.

I’ll have to think about it over night - any other suggestions are welcome. Figure I will figure it out before Sunday.

In the Dojo i’m called “Lion Eyes”… there was already a “Kat” on BSG (who was also a badass Latina like myself) so that’s not original…

but i’m the 13th blackbelt my Renchi has promoted in his career… so, maybe “13”?

When I was in basic training many years ago, my instructor couldn’t pronounce my last name, so he called me K plus Eight. So I think my should probably be “K Plus”.

Actually, my best friend was going to order replica Galactica tags for me as a gift, and we spent MONTHS trying to come up with a name that fits me as a callsign. We ended up going with with the standby of Suntree, so there it is.

Damn hippies.
