SWEEET!!! That looks even better than last season. I’m a huge fan of the comics and contrary to most other fanboys, I really enjoyed the TV series last year. I managed to drag my wife into it and I was so proud of her when I heard her say the other day “so when do we get our Zombie fix?” (or something to that effect).
Can’t wait for Season 2- looks a bit more gritty like the comics too which is great to see.

Just ordered the Blu-ray under a 24 hour sale from a favoured online store, still a little expensive for only 6 episodes but I really do fancy watching it again and while the HD presentation is far from demo material if the price is right Blu will always win over DVD.

I enjoyed the season opener very much. Did I see (spoiler) helicopters in the the air when they showed previews of the season? I’m definitely ready to see our group interface with more humans, there must be other pockets of people alive. At some point the weather must change too- right?
I had to watch in the daylight so I didn’t have nightmares. Now that ConnerAZ is away at college, I have no one wo watch with me, so I make the dog get on my lap!
Great season opener! I was screaming for Rick to grab that hatchet, though. I thought it was funny that he told everyone to be armed with something other than a gun then a few minutes later is walking through the woods with his gun out. Do as I say, not as I do, I guess. Can’t wait for more!

all in all I agree what the walkers in the barn had to be eliminated…but going nuts like that was not going to win over anybody, if he was going to push it that far I seriously thought he might just start wiping out the people that were hosting them because it just didn’t make sense that you’d wipe out the walkers in the barn (very clearly something the host group did NOT want to happen) but then just assume they’d come around after it was done

I would have loved to see that story told. And if at least half what Sam Witwer told there about AMCs practices, that Cable station got dangerous close to FOX level.

I am really ready for Walking Dead to be back. One of the dads from lacrosse brought it up last night, which surprised me since I’m typically the lone geek in any group outside of GWC family.
