ABC released the first trailer for the upcoming remake of the classic sci-fi series “V”, you can see it here
It has Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk from Firefly and Elizabeth Mitchell from LOST. It should be coming this fall.

I hope they figure out a way to borrow Michael Ironsides from whatever old-age home he’s in and roll his wheelchair over to the set so he can make a cameo. That dude was a badass in the original.
That looks so Sweet… Friday nights for one season and then canx. But I’ll watch every episode, on the name alone. I still have the 80’s episodes.

I read rumors recently that the show’s production may be in trouble, which is why the schedule is fubar. I’ve liked the trailers so far, but it sure feels like they’re trying to kill this series before it even airs. hmm…

Only PRC has that stupid problem. The rest of Hanja using nations such as Taiwan don’t feel the need to force the usage of characters.
The name mentioned in that article now can be typed can transmitted through the internet thanks to Unicode.

It just takes a bit more time for the newest unicode pack and font packs to be implemented by the OS so that people won’t need to install the fonts themselves.
by the way, Ma for horse looks like 馬. Cheng mentioned in the article is just 馬馬馬 but squished into a square. There is another character featuring 3 horses which is already in the current Windows encoding, 驫 Biao.
