Hope the network gives it a real chance to succeed.
I can’t wait. I can’t wait , I CAN’T WAIT.

Despite being populated by a host of lame B-listers that preview still looked darn good, especially the last 30 seconds.
All I can say is…WOW!
Thanks Davidj0207
This looks so good, can’t wait.
Don’t ask that question Operator!
Ditto. Me likey Morena
I’m ever the optimist and I feel they’ll do quite well. BSG was re-vamped from a cheesy 70’s TV scifi drama and was smashingly good. I think with the proper attitude adjustment that scifi isn’t just for 10 year olds they’ll do it right. I’ve got to say the days of Aaron Spelling ruined a whole generation of children and opened the doors for pure shit on TV like Gossip girl and reality shows about petulant crybaby teenagers with enourmous senses of entitlement.
My Super Sweet 16. Dont ever watch this show, or you may end up smashing your television.
Oh. Em. Ge. I love that show. That stuff like really happens, you know. Not like this sci-fi stuff you all talk about. starts to get emotional One time, in one of the episodes, one of the girls couldn’t get the hall for a thousand guests with the crystal waterfall and she like totally almost crashed her Benz because she was screaming at her parents on her cell phone while blow-drying her hair and painting her nails. I mean sniff I have had blubber that happen to me. You just don’t understand. full blown waterworks You just talk about your fantasy bla bla stuff. Why don’t you grow up and move out of your parent’s basements and get a real social life where you berate everyone around you before they berate you. I mean that is like real life.
At times, everyone has a teenage girl moment. This was that moment.
Awesome finds, Operator. Perfect for my dorky V site, it’s like THEY’RE making content just for ME now!
Went ahead and fixed that for you.
thanx, bubula.
I enjoyed the premiere of V last night on ABC. I was a fan of the original miniseries and remember the green baby from “The Final Battle” giving my brother and I nightmares for weeks… The show was fast paced, and really packed a lot into one hour. I especially enjoyed the tip of the hat to The 4400 (the address of the resistance meeting place), a show that died an unceremonious death before its time.
There’s quite a cast assembled, and it was really cool to see the little things possible now that weren’t practical in the 80’s - for example, the interior of the motherships were always claustrophobic, while our first interior glimpses show the enormous city in the sky. It will be interesting to see how they utilize that as a set. I am still curious about the visitor’s intentions, as I am guessing the “How To Serve Man” plot is not the way it will go. I’m excited for the next episode, even if the plan is to show 4 this fall, and wait until after the Winter Olympics to continue the series.
