I thought the very same
The camerawork and CGI always bugs me in this part with Watto. Ani and Padme are out of focus but Watto is pristine. Really shows the CGI work
Okay. With the shuttles sound effects, I keep expecting to hear some heavy metal suddenly come on.
That’s awesome Talos. Hehe, I can’t bring myself to do such things in public.
I figured it was one of those under-the-radar things. It bothers me it still goes on here
Agreed. But then again, actual advocates of Democracy in the Republic were few and far between… and GL’s movies seem to argue (if they argue at all) for the installation of a superior class of people (in his case genetically more gifted or predisposed to the use of the Force) in power. ugh.
She’s very understanding and forgiving. She’s a living saint.
Ah, pretty lights and things exploding in space. That just makes my day.
The bomb explosion sound is kind of an interesting sound.
I actually read a pretty interesting article about that(politics in SW). I will have to see if I can track it down.

Agreed, it’s like a sonic boom-ish bit with guitars… or I could be making it all up
That was one of those “That’s cool” moments.
That would be really interesting, I’d love to read it if you can find it Lucky.
You should see when I quote sci-fi to the cash register teens.
I love the music in the part on tatooine… all a build up to the force theme! woohoo!
Well I just love hte music, period. And most of Padme’s costumes.
For gods’ sakes, could people please stop calling Mr-future-Darth Vader, Ani if they want me to ever take him seriously?
hey padme called him anakin instead of ani, woohoo.
but can he be any more patronizing??
If my tummy were toned, yeah that outfit would be pretty cool.
especially when you consider it should make no sound at all when used in the vacuum of space. (I love that about Firefly, btw–Joss refused to let Serenity whooosh like the Enterprise)
Chuck said it best in the podcast. There are like thousands of planets. Sometimes a civilization gets lost in the shuffle. Very much like some parts of our own world.
