Star Wars Ep.2: Attack of the Clones

This whole thing with Shmi and the Lars crew works better in the novel cuz you actually read what happened.

Same here

“is she dead yet?” “have her head on my desk.”

Well that’s a lovely image.

That Techno Union cyborg guy is weak. Seriously, robots in the Star Wars universe leave much to be desired…

That’s right, it’s been a while sine I read that. Hehe, I always read the books b4 the movies came out.

Very 1930s sci-fi. I liked it but me Romantic.

It helped me enjoy them more.

The mother and son bit here always gets me. I always cry when they bury Shmi. And I totally cried in the theater when Anakin holds his mother in his arms as she dies… so sad.

“I love…” sob

Well I’ll say that at least that part isn’t badly done.

Psyco Ani here we come.

What the hell killed her?

On that point, there are no real shocking moments in these films. I mean sure they’re prequels but Stormtroopers are clones and Vader built 3PO are really mind blowing.

Internal injuries and starvation

random question, when Yoda is hearing the badness of the killing of the Tusken raiders, who yells Anakin!? I always thought it was Obi-wan, but just now it sounds to me like Qui-gon.

Young Skywalker’s in pain - so why don’t you do something about it, Yoda?

Yeah I was moved by the scene, Hayden acting aside.

I believe it was Qui-Gon. I wish they would’ve explained that more in the PT. About Jedi ghosts etc. I mean it shoved into like two or three lines in Ep.3.

It is Qui-gon. This is what I’m talking about. Can we all get in on the fun? Does the audience have to stay in the dark? I kept wondering when we were gonna get the payoff.

Padme the servile… poor Anakin.

“Life seems so much simpler when you’re fixing things.” That bit isn’t bad, but seriously, the rest of it gets kind of weird.

Anakin = messiah complex

actually that was his best acting and what got him the part. His ability to do pissed angry.

now it’s Obi-Wan’s fault

Emperor’s Theme! Woohoo, slaughtering them like animals…

I do like the music. Have I mentioned that yet?
