Star Trek Into Darkness - June 29, 2012...or perhaps May 17, 2013

Ok so we know what Chris Pine will be working on. That is unless this is Leila Kalomi, another one of Spocks conquests. Man that Vulcan gets around. Pon far my butt bet he uses that line on all the ladies.

I keep thinking Carol Marcus.

Abrams said someone who didn’t appear in the original series…so it might fit, from a certain point of view.

Mmmmhmmmmmmmm.

Del Toro NOT playing Khan

So Khan not likely to be in next Trek…unless something changes

I, for one, would’ve liked it.

So THERE!!

RoboCop will be in Trek

…but Del Toro won’t

Ramirez may replace Del Toro on Trek

So, I guess it’s looking the villain is gonna be Khan. (nice lack of imagination guys).

So how exactly is Khan a villain I wonder?

Space Seed Khan (which this would need to be) doesn’t have the hatred for Kirk. His Ahab complex hasn’t shown up yet, but he would awaken as an optimistic, opportunistic genius ready and willing to take the reins of leadership.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I would love to see that story as a story in the Star Trek Ongoing comic book Series. But, jeez, why can’t they do something new for big screen? Oh well. It’s done. And I’m sure love the movie just fine. But I was kinda hoping they’d be more creative.

They’ve got time to get it right, let’s hope they don’t squander it. Maybe they’ll release it as a webisode.

STAR TREK XII

WRITTEN BY ALAN SMITHEE

DIRECTED BY JJ ABRAMS

SCENE: THE ENTERPRISE IS PATROLLING DEEP SPACE

PAN LEFT TO BEAUTY SHOT OF SHIP, SCENE SHIFTS TO INSIDE THE BRIDGE

“Captain, we’ve picked up a vessel on long range scanners.”

“Spock, analysis?”

“It appears to be an old DY-100, an old Earth sublight ship.”

“DY-100? I’m not familiar with that model.”

“It was one of the US Military space exploratory ships used from the 1990s through the early twenty-first century, based out of the old Area 51 complex, now known as Nellis Spaceport.”

“Ah yes, extremely top secret, but the primitive ion-drives they had were for use within the solar system only. How could it be out this far?”

“Perhaps it deliberately used one of the gravitic anomalies in the Sol system outer boundaries to achieve some type of temporary FTL capability, further analysis is required. Preparing to interface with the onboard computer.”

“Fascinating. Mister Chekhov, can you correlate it against a specific ship?”

“Yes Keptin, scanning now. It appears to be the… Botany Bay. Botany Bay? Bozhe moi, Botany Bay!”

“My god, this must be… Khan’s ship. Mister Spock, belay that interface! Your older self was quite clear that’s what began the revival cycle. Mister Chekhov, establish a constant sensor lock on all the inhabitants, report the moment any of them begins to wake up in case we somehow trigger it. Sulu, tractor beam please, let’s tow this back home. Cold Station 12 may soon have new residents.”

THE END

You forgot the lens flares.

I had similar thoughts. (:

That is all.

I dig it! Sherlock is awesome.

Sherlock seems pretty cool, but looks kind of like a rip-off of House…
