“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God”
Sorry if I was sounding like a male version of a Bitter Betty. I was choosing to take cynical/pessimistic approach when addressing my feelings. Your right, I’ll wait until after next week to whine.
I am sorry if I sound mean, I am not in any way trying to do that, I just feel a little cheated. I mean at this point I feel like sending a bill to Ron Moore for the 80+ show hours of my life that I lost. I mean I feel now the same way I felt when I realized M. Night Shyamalan couldn’t make a decent movie after “The Sixth Sence”, I mean what the heck was “Signs” again? Ron Moore and company had me hooked after season one, it was this 4.5 misery that makes me wonder what did we do to him. Or better yet did he go to school with M. Night?
Ron if you are reading this. Please tell us what happened. Even if it is you in a podcast explaining the whole thing. I wouldn’t mind that.
You got to be kiding me. All the Colonies being in the same star system is the final straw. Really? REALLY? Why not just say anti gravity is the final straw or the stars they choose to put in the background of the space shots or that vipers wouldn’t be able to carry enough fuel to do what they do. What a frakkin joke
Wait wait I got a better one. That the Mk VII vipers and Centurions don’t use their upper gun!
yeah I didnt really get why you’re so bothered by the colonies being all in the same star system either, that really doesn’t seem like a big deal to me. not saying you’re wrong but could you expand on why that bothered you so?
I’m OK with this, as long as it was seeded properly. That was the thing with the Soparanos ending. It was a WTF moment, but once everyone thought about it, it was actually telegraphed pretty well. (Think Chuck’s reaction to the “One Year Later” cliffhanger (that I loved, BTW.))
As long as we get just that, I’ll (eventually) be fine. Maybe not right away, though.
Well a girl has to have her standards. All that aside, yes after watching the train wreck that is 4.5 a simple thing as we couldn’t come up with a good ideal so we will just roll with it, chaps me.
Don’t take offense with what I am saying, the real joke is that we are all still watching it. Those of us who are disappointed and those of us who think its great.
the difference between us and you Samanthawadams is that we think that the episodes are mostly great on their own, we’re just not getting resoultion, and its getting to us.
people like you, seem to think theres nothing redeeming, so why are you still watching?
its kind of like ron moore has mentioned in his podcasts, he sees people say things like “ive watched it 4 times now and this is why I dont like it” well how much could they really dislike if they’re still so into it?
An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the intention of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.[2]
Controversial and inflammatory? Perhaps. But my post is relevent and on topic.
I’ve criticized the writers of season 4.5 - that’s what people get when they enter the public sphere, especially the media sphere… others love what you do, hate it, or are indifferent.
I haven’t flamed anyone on this forum. I haven’t argued with anyone on this thread.
If I’m a troll, what’s this?
Or this - in response to samanthawadams’ post?
Or this, in response to my opinions on season 4.5?
Moderators, do I fulfill your definition of a troll?
