I was almost there until you reminded me. d:
But then again, can Padme in 3D could overcome Jar Jar in 3D? Second movie for sure!

With Aaronofsky gone, the delay isnt surprising

hopefully they can get a good director quickly
.looks like things are moving forward to bring the comic POWERS to FX. (SQUEEEE!!!). they are looking at Kyle Chandler (who could be a great Christian Walker) to join.

now if they can get Katee Sackoff to play Deena Pilgrim…OSSIM TV would ensue…
ok…evidently WB reeeeeaaaaallllyyyy wants to put something up against Avengers, so the Justice League thing may be moving forward
its the re-reinventing of Batman that I am not entirely feeling…we’ll see
The fiancee and I were discussing this tonight. I am not really feeling WWZ as a film. The narrative structure of the book is so impressive that I don’t want a version of WWZ without it–but I don’t think it can translate to the screen. In addition to eliding the oral history aspect, I think that a movie version would also have to string together more plot. What characters would be lose to that? I don’t know. I LOVED WWZ and want more of it, but I just don’t think movie is the right format.
This, however, you and I are 100% agreed upon. Powers on FX would be great. Powers on FX with Katee Sackhoff would be AFRAKKINGMAZING
Arnie is doing a cartoon called The Governator in association with Stan Lee where he fights an evil organization called Gangsters Imposters Racketeers Liars & Irredeemable Ex-cons (G.I.R.L.I.E. Men)
no…REALLY!

I don’t want to sound like a hater, but Skyline, Battle: LA, and now this? Couldn’t they spread these out a bit more? (:
Though, I suppose Falling Skies could be more of a War of the Worlds remake instead of closer to ID4.
Actually it made me think more of Red Dawn, people banding together to form a resistance group after their country is invaded. They better not call themselves the WOLVERINES!
I was thinking Walking Dead, but with aliens instead of zombies. The trailer says it starts 6 months after the initial invasion, so the aliens didn’t make any obvious mistakes like in the last few alien-invasion movies.
If the aliens didn’t make any mistakes, obvious or not, how are humans still alive after six months??
Edit: Btw, cute avatar!
Dunno. Was their intention to kill everyone? Don’t know enough about the show to answer that.
I’m talking about things like how in Battle: LA the aliens lose because they 1) conveniently put their command and control center on the ground instead of leaving it in orbit and 2) have never heard of the concept of “redundancy”.
Yeah, I know you have to do something; any realistic portrayal of hostile alien arrival pretty much ends with humanity dead, subjugated or both and who wants to watch that. I just wish they would make it so that humanity winning didn’t require plot holes big enough to fly starships through.
Not quite sure how I feel about this…but there looks to be a Time Bandits reboot forthcoming…
Hmmmm. The animation looks fairly low-rent. But it’s Thundercats, man. I’m in!
Did I miss seeing Panthro in there somewhere?
Not too crazy about the new Tigra, but I could get use to the updated Cheetara. d:
Now, there just need to bring back She-Ra and the circle will be complete in my mind. d:

“Even though his last film, The Last Airbender, was destroyed by film critics everywhere, it went onto gross over $300 million worldwide, fueling speculation about a possible sequel.”
Huh!??? 300 million?? Really?
