Rain Drops

What?

Wired

Yesterday we got 4.9" of very heavy, wet snow. Here’s what it did to my lilac bush that already has buds opening up.

Gryper, oh no! Here’s to hoping that some flowers make it through…

Whoa! Looks like you still have plenty of winter.
It’s beautiful.

About mid afternoon the snow had all dropped off of it and there are green leaves starting to come out of the buds. So I think it’s going to be just fine.

It’s mostly melted away now, just hanging around in areas that there are shadows most of the day. Just March getting ready to go out like a lion I guess…rain and thunderstoms predicted for tomorrow.

This is one of the best pictures I have taken with my Sanyo Xacti camera. Thought I’d put it up to share. It’s from my trip to Oz in 2006:

I love looking at it. It was taken from a picnic area at the Taronga Zoo looking across Sydney Harbour at the Sydney skyline and the Opera House.

Another pic from the shoot yesterday. This is Dottie, the organizer and my sometimes employer.
