I feel like I should know this one. ):
Neat! Don’t recognize that one. Any hints?
It was at Wolf 359 (did I get that right?) among the wreckage…
Here is one of my Favorite ships
Another SFB ship I assume?
It starts with an A, and it is a Star Trek canon ship, like I said earlier it is on screen during TNG.
The only ship I know from the Wolf 359 with a name starting w/ A was the USS Ahwahnee (Cheyenne class). There was at least one Ambassador Class ship, but that’s not it either.
Hmm… to the internets!
Looks like the same design for the USS Kelvin in the Star Trek XI.
Was it the Bright 1 destroyer?
I think you’re right: http://home.comcast.net/~ststcsolda/romulans/T-10/T-10.html
I recognized the picture from my stacks of FASA books I had at one point, but every time I searched, I kept thinking “Klingon” because of the BoP. I totally forgot the whole FASA backstory regarding the Klingon/Romulan ship swaps!
Still trying to figure out what that TOS movie-era ship is that Omra posted, the hint is kicking my butt because I can’t find any ships in any of the lists, heh. It’s quite a challenge!
No the Kelvin had a secondary hull, whereas this ship has two engines.
Edit: And the Kelvin makes a lousy salt shaker…
Yes that was a Bright One T10 cruiser. Used to have the pewter ship to. It was a great hit and run ship that as long as you had shields. I could duke it out with the best of them.
I recognize the ship Omra posted just can’t remember it.
EDIT: Erased everything
Holy cow, I just realized my malfunction. I re-read the original message, and it wasn’t at Wolf 359, it was just on TNG. I have no idea where I got Wolf 359.
(forehead smack)
Holy crap, I screwed that one up!
Still no joy. I’ve gone through pages of studio models used in TNG, read a bunch of fansites, I even googled phrases as unlikely as “skinny constellation class” (because, you know, it sorta resembles one if you squint your eyes and disregard the missing warp engines) and I just can’t get it.
Can you give us another hint?
USS Bell (NCC-35031)
USS Hercules (NCC-24657)
USS Lincoln (NCC-25987)
USS San Diego (NCC-34888)
It was also in Star Trek Armada.
I tried cheating and going by its serial number, but the class I found doesn’t match anything that starts with A.
Ah. Tough one!
There is conflicting information on some of the sites, and some of the illustrations don’t match what some of the actual models look like let alone real screen captures.
I’ll just throw it out there. AKULA!
Yeah, I googled the NCC #s when you posted them and spent some time reading up on the Akula. For some reason, there’s two completely different looking versions of it, one that’s very TNG+ and one that, like your pic, is movie era. I didn’t see which TNG episode had the one you mention, but I’m sure it’s out there somewhere. Just waiting for the next ship to show up, heh.
