Good question TF, that is something we wrestled with during the Star Wars rewatch. Given that their isn’t a dedicated Matrix forum like we have with Star Wars it probably makes the most sense to have the conversation in this thread. However, if it makes logistics easier go ahead and start a new thread in another forum, probably “Other Science Fiction” and hold the frak party. Note that after the rewatch has occured, usually a few days to a week later that thread will be merged with this one primarily so we don’t have the same subject being discussed in multiple places and in 6 months all the subject matter is in one place.
All time zones have a letter associated with them. GMT (aka UTC) is Z, Eastern US is R, etc.
Zulu is the military/phonetic of the letter Z.
Wish I could. I’m throwing a birthday party for a friend that afternoon and I’m expecting to go until 4pm at least. Bummer.

Sorry made the thread on my last round on the board b4 bed. I get Frack and Frak confused sometimes because I’m so used to spelling the F-bomb.
The day and time isn’t set in stone. Just going with how we did the SW frak parties. It’s a good time because most people are taking a breather on Sundays before the week starts.
“Frack” is actually correct using old-skool BSG spelling.
But it’s “Oops.”
I’ll have to miss out on this one, I’m out of town from tomorrow until the middle of next week…

I know movies are pretty subjective (heck I have a perverse fondness for Escape from New York). Maybe I’ll learn something from these matrix 2 & 3 fanatics.

Thank you all. It’s nothing life threatening or anything like that, but just my TBI. I wasn’t injured seriously enough for me to undergo some of the treatments for it—induced coma for example-- and I thot it was getting better, but this last week I have been stumbling around the house trying to remember what the hell I am doing—quite a bit like a punch drunk boxer actually. It’s just a very frustrating experience.
AAARRRRRGH! Netflix is broken! I might have to hit the library myself. :mad:
The Matrix is an outstanding, groundbreaking and very original movie. Reloaded is very good and did what a sequel should do which is bring things up a notch—it was very memorable. Revolutions—I guess it wasn’t all that memorable because I have trouble remembering anything really unique about the movie. But hey, just to put things into perspective—I’d much rather watch a not-so-great Matrix sequel than a better-then-average Police Academy or Die Hard sequel.

Awww… I was blaming it on either them throttling (I’ve been pretty efficient recently with watching my Netflix) or the mail having problems again… and I did get a disc today. But they should have shipped 2… so yeah.
