OMFG. I had no idea this game would be so complex. It’s great to see a game designed for a single-player, non-online content product.
I think that games like Halo etc have been designed for their online content, with a storyline thrown in, and this reflects in to often raised criticism that the single player game is too short. No risk of that here, and it seems the storyline evolves depending on how you play.
This concept (game outcome decided by gameplay) has been tried before. I used to have a PC game based on Blade Runner, where depending on what choices you made through the game a different outcome was revealed. If memory serves there was a total of 13 different possible endings, and you could choose how you dealt with characters in the game: polite, normal, surly, erratic or user choice. Sound familiar?
It was actually pretty good for a game released over 10 years ago.
