Nice! Please tell me someone’s got M.U.L.E. or Elite working…
Gods, I loved Elite. I place the holy crap out of it back in the day!
Can’t decide where to post… so i decided i double post.
Android and iphone lovers… you may now join forces and be in the same camp
Behold… Android running on iPohne
and the invasion of cute Asian Canadians…
Heads up: B-Boy Beats (iTunes Link) is free for today-ish (heard about it last night–I assume it’s 24hrs.) It’s a cross between Dance Dance Revolution and Guitar Hero for the iPhone. Even better, it features MC Frontalot’s raps.
I hate to break this to you but multi-tasking won’t be enabled for the 3G, just the 3Gs.
Yeah, I saw that, but fortunately I have THREE upgrades available on my family plan between now and August, and ONE of them will be going to a shiny new 4g (or whatever they call it) iPhone! (Pete does the happy dance).
I’m LOVING the task switching on my Jailbroken 2G, and the battery is super accurate (I’ve even switched to the numerical percentage for even more accuracy, and it’s very consistent).
Looking forward to the next iPhone as well, the leaked data from last week looks pretty fantastic.
Good deal, Thunderscreech. I found it typical of Apple to decide that task switching wouldn’t be made available on the 2g and 3g phones, when every jailbreaker out there was having a great time running Backgrounder. Go figure.
I’m glad you didn’t have the battery meter problem.
I’ve used the crap out of my iPhone 3G - wifi is gone (it literally says “No Wifi” in the menu), battery life is starting to diminish, and the cell antenna is getting a little intermittent. At this point I hope that the Canadian release of the 4G/HD/whatever isn’t delayed like the Int’l release of the iPad, so I can upgrade sooner than later. Don’t even really care what new features it has
Yeah, my name is Juan and I’m an iPhone addict.
We’re here for you, Juan. We understand.
Nathan Fillion recommended this a week or so ago, and I have to say that it’s better than Ninja Ropes: Angry Birds (iTunes: 99 cent version, Lite version.) It starts out easy as crap, and ends up hard as craaap.
Weird. I upgraded a few months ago, and my original iPhone is still going strong (sold it to a friend.) And I used the hell out of it.
You beat me to it Pike, Angry Birds is by far my favorite game on my iPod Touch. Totally addicted, so I was happy when they had an add on pack last week!
I’m going to bump this post just because I think it deserves mentioning. I never thought I’d enjoy using Kindle at all, let alone on my iPhone, but it’s actually quite nice. All of your reading syncs nicely between devices (Kindle, Mac, iPhone, etc.) and while very simple, it gets the job done. No problem, either, on readability. You can change font sizes and go with black on white, white on black, or black on sepia.
I’d like to see a search function added (like most people), but it gets the job done.
The iPhone finally has Flash on it.
Got this from one of my college buddies
LOL!! awesome.
Late on this, so act fast. Nifty iPhone tap-n-shoot game (think of the mecha from Babylon’s gates in the Matrix movies) is free for the rest of the day.
Okay, as Solai pointed out just awhile ago on Twitter:
The 4.0 operating system is now available! Jump on iTunes, sync your device (IYKWIM) and hit the update button. Time was surprisingly fast! (about 15 minutes)
Good luck!
