[forrestgumpsjenny]Run, Keir, run![/forrestgumpsjenny]
Quiet you! Do you want to get shot in the but-tocks?
That would require you to run fast enough to catch up with me…I’m not seeing that happen. And I don’t think your aim would be very good from far away, Dick Cheney. (oh, snap!)
Ooh, nice eleventh-hour political dig. Two points.
I do happen to own the Greenbow, Alabama “Run, Forrest, Run” shirt (with “Stop, Forrest, Stop” on the back) that I use for my neighborhood runs. But my spooky-sense is telling me that isn’t the kind of running I should be lacing up my shoesies for.
Zoinks!
Did you just compare your own sorrybarb to an old man’s face?
So, RMHPH vs. Keara, a 100-yard dash foot-race. Loser gets Dick Cheney’s face tattooed on their sorrybarb. Who’s with me? Taking all bets!
I’ll take a quarter on Keara to finish first
I’m really pissed that Zack and Miri isn’t coming out until January here - I <3 Seth Rogen. Sigh
BTW Sean, you forgot the Aussie James Bond…George Lazenby: On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.
I always liked “Empires” comparison between Sean Connery and Roger Moore:
Connery sweats…Moore perspires…
cackleberry I totally hear that, I didn’t get to see the movie, but I will when I get home in 3 weeks. Aurda and Pike gave me a shout out, and they must have brought my ship some good luck, right now, we’re having a Smash Mouth Concert and only 4 days ago we started getting a lot of clebs like Anna Kournikova comming out and saying HI to us. but the best thing to haappen to the SHOP is our RALPH Iusse came in. I think we need to get Sean a copy. Aussies, most beautiful babes in the world.

Glad to hear you are having a good week Robert. Enjoy the ladies
Amazing what happens when a bunch of Irish lasses get a bit of sun.
Dude, that’s cold.
Post #138 in my ongoing “Cleveland is actually the functional center of the universe” campaign:
Cleveland has a Winchester bar. It’s in Lakewood, Apollomy’s neck of the woods. Apollomy, can we get a pic? I’m seldom out that way.
Re: The Brains: Even if you’re not big into the zombie flicks… One really clever thing about Pileggi’s flicks is that they start as a parody of a genre, then they gradually drift into a real genre flick. So if you’re seen Sean* of the Dead, you’ve effectively had much of the Zombie Movie Experience.

Damn straight. That’s one of the things about Shaun that made it really stand out to me. It starts off with this kick-ass social commentary, then turns into a full-blown comedy, and by the end it’s a full-on zombie flick. With a comedy kick.
To any of you who haven’t seen it yet because you (like me) “don’t care for zombie flicks:” give it a shot. It’s worth it.
Seconded. I have never been one to watch a zombie flick. Seem snippets of some and never cared for it. I watch SOTD only because of GWC and I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it. This is not a gore-flinch fest. It is a very clever movie that happens to have zombies in it. I can think of only one shot that I thought, “eew”
And what’s crazy is that by the time that shot rolls around even a guy like me (who’s not at all into that) was in the zone to a) laugh at it in its cheesy glory and b) think “the prick totally deserved it. What an ass.”
I’m don’t like horror films, eitherl. The wonderful thing about this community is you meet people who love certain genres and can help you sift through the junk and appreciate the gems. RMHPH recommended “Fido” and I really enjoyed it. I think it’s also more fun when you experience it with friends than alone.
You beat me to it!
If you enjoyed SotD, Fido is a classic “boy and his dog” movie, except with a zombie. And Carrie-Anne Moss is in it.
I dug Fido! I want her whole wardrobe! The rich colors, the fashions, the lipstick! I loved the house, too! lol! A feast for the eyes!
And the satire- just awesome!
One to watch with friends! (though I saw it by myself while sick)
