Don’t make me come over there. I still long for an iPhone but have made my peace with the fact it is a sexy $500 brick that will double my telephone monthly bill.
The iTouch is closer…but at a 32 gig capacity for $500 bucks, no dice. I need at least 60 gigs for music and video…so until they double the capacity and halve the price I will continue to pine away.
Maybe if I use the power of the dark side just this one time…

I thought that too Solai. Alas, I gave in and got one anyway. I can’t store =all= my video on there but I’ve got all my music and podcasts and still have about 12 gig free for video!
Yeah, I find the capacity on my 8GB iPhone to be fine. I just keep the last three of every podcast (automatically,) my four and five star rated music, and ten-odd videos and I have a couple gigs left over.
I have been mentioned about twice as much as “someone” then as FBC.
I think Emily is the only one who has avoided that fate.

You know for some reason, everyone I donate my money to gives me a tote bag. I was thinking, what am I gonna do with all these tote bags, and then the state of Washington has gone out and banned plastic bags in grocery stores!
Now everyone is wandering the aisles of Whole Foods, showing off various tote bags that show support for various causes.
Once again, conservative tote-bag heavy portfolio pays off for hungry investor!

Really? Can they use paper bags or is it bring your own tote only? We bring back the plastic bags to our store and they recycle them. We reuse the paper bags. The store sells totes but now I see the light about bringing one of my own.
Supposedly, the current plan is this: all-out ban on non-recyclable disposable plastic containers (plastic grocery bags, poly foam take out containers). 20 cents per disposable grocery bag at the check out (INCLUDING paper).
So, yeah, there’s a boom in tote bags. And people are getting fashion-snobby about tote bags now… apparently if you carry the green Whole Foods logo tote bag, you’re not cool… you need a organic cotton tote bag with a obscure retro logo on it to mix with the hip crowd.
Two podcasts ago in a siggy far, far below…I linked an ahem regarding the Trinity “someoned” me. I felt pompous the whole time it was there. The experience helped me realize that just being quoted was enuff. Recognition is over-rated anyway.
