GWC Fantasy Football League

Lol. Fine. Still a chance someone can tip the balance tonight which is why I said, “Looks like that’s me today.” d:

Yeah I won it twice in 3 weeks last year. The only thing more painful than witnessing it is enduring it.

I think it should count. You have the 2nd highest score, you’re just tied for it. Although, both the Deathwoks and the Cuddlies (fantastic names both) have a decent shot at breaking 95.

I approve!

Yeah I’ll remove it if they break 95 but had to poke fun at cart for pointing out his own demise

The irony was there for anyone and everyone to see. d:

0-4 here I come!

Welcome to my world!

I thought it would be interesting to see how everyone’s first round draft picks were doing so far (total points):

  1. Adrian Peterson - 57
  2. Chris Johnson - 28
  3. Tom Brady - 102
  4. Aaron Rodgers - 111
  5. Michael Vick - 72
  6. Drew Brees - 91
  7. Arian Foster - 25
  8. Jamaal Charles - 11
  9. Ray Rice - 75
  10. LeSean McCoy - 77
  11. Maurice Jones-Drew - 48
  12. Rashard Mendenhall - 26
  13. Andre Johnson - 45
  14. Michael Turner - 54
  15. Roddy White - 35
  16. Frank Gore - 38

At least I’m No. 2 at something in this league…

Attention Patrick Hamrick’s Zephyr’s Zoetropes, a player in your line up has a bye week. I prefer to win cleanly when possible. That is all because I feel a low scoring day coming on…

3rd in the league 8th on that list as well as 11th

Not sure who owns the Browncoats (LOVE IT!) but Todd Heap is out today. You can still pick up a TE from FA.

Also, this is the second week Vick will sit the bench in our league. I’ll totally trade ya a couple of RBs for him.

I’m almost glad (but not really) I lost because I’d feel bad winning when my opponent has a player missing.

But, dang did I call a low scoring day. I wish I could use that ability to actually pick a good lineup.

Yesterday was the most fun I’ve had watching Football while my home team had a bye. I was a sure-fire loss starting the day, and looking-promising but still probable loss after all the day games. After a lot of drama, though, the Packers came through and now, going into Monday Night Football (Where my opponent has 2 players and I have 0) I’m a very slight favorite.

The game is in my opponent’s (very capable with a 3-1 record) hands. Gonna be a good night.

It does change the way you watch games. “Go Pats! Wait, don’t let them score a touchdown, I have their kicker! C’mon Jets, goal line stand!”

Lol definitely, I love rooting for players it’s a lot more fun

I’m with ya. Seems like every week I’m playing against a fantasy team that has a player who’s on my other fantasy team. There’s a lot of “yeah!go!oh wait no don’t score! Yay 6 points! Crap I’m losing”. My hubs refuses to watch games with me now. Way too schizo.

Yeah I have enough problems with one team. I’d go bonkers with two or more.

hello! Didya read my post? I AM going bonkers! :stuck_out_tongue:

But it’s a fun kind of bonkers  In week 2, I was both cheering for and against the same 2 players. They did well, and because of that I won here and lost in the other league. It was both exhilarating AND frustrating.

The big problem is next year, when I’m already considering joining a 3rd league.

Yay! I’ve gone from 4th to last to 2nd to last…

Wait…

Edit: Wth?

I edited my lineup for the coming week and the “Talyn Starbursts at San Antonio Browncoats Preview” projects me to lose even though the Browncoats have 3 players on Byes, etc. I smell an anti-Alliance bias…
