Maybe “Ouch, that sucks!” which implies empathy, instead of “Sucks to be you” which implies mockery?
The other league I’m in doesn’t mind handing out the mockery, but I agree that the GWC league should keep it to a minimum

12 overnight waivers. That might be the most I’ve seen. And, the running back choices are tighter than last year if that’s at all possible…
Still, I’m surprised at not seeing more players with *'s by their names dropped.

I think this is an excellent idea especially since the waiver wire is such slim pickings. Do you realize that the highest projected points for all the QB/RB/WR on the waiver wire is 6? Looks like trading is the best way to improve your team in such a big league.
That theory hasn’t work out in practice in our previous years unfortunately. But, who knows?
Alright question. We have 16 teams and only 4 in the playoffs. We can bump that to 6 or 8 teams and it’ll only be 1 additional week of playoffs. If we do 8 it’ll also give us a full end-of-season ranking by record. (1-8 in the winners bracket, 9-16 in the losers bracket). Thoughts?
I’m down with that. My thoughts on each possibility:
4 seems low, for 16 teams. Though, everybody gets an extra week of regular season even if they don’t make the playoffs.
8 seems high, for 16 teams. that’s half the league making it to the playoffs. I don’t care about absolute ranking, myself, but see how it could be nice.
6 seems like a good number, for 16 teams.
So I say 6, but will understand any of the other options. After all, my least favorite option is the way it’s set up currently, and I’m fine with that

Yes & no, it’s more of a clan identification thatn a “I want to be like the players!” thinking. It’s like getting GWC gear, we get it because we are GWC’ers & want to show that off.

Basically you put players you are and are not willing to trade and then you list what positions you need. Other people look at the trade blocks and offer trades based on your needs/players available
What if I need better everything?
It’s hard to say this as a Browns fan, but I love the Ravens’ Defense. I have them in both of the leagues I’m in, and in both they were the reason I won this week.
Did two trades this one, one paid off, Vernon Davis scored 10 points more than either old TEs but Andre Johnson got hurt and only had 3 points vs 9 points from Santana Moss. I’m not worried about the later but pretty pumped for the former.
That being said…anybody need a tight end? Lol Scott Chandler or Chris Cooley?
And, what do you know? Looks like that’s me today. Or, at least I’m tied at 95 points atm.
