Actually, it was seeing your picks and some of the other anime people that let me home in on my team. I was starting with the deadpan humour of Wes Janson as a pilot and building up from there, thinking about tossing in Master Roshi as a Martial artist and was having trouble thinking up a good recon man. Jim was always there for the mechanic, though I was trying to think of one with more demonstrated skill (I never thought of Dr. J, Otto, Howard or any of them, interestingly). Then I saw the Major, thought of Batou for recon, and it went from there.
I thought of Melfina as a pilot, but I’m not sure how well she’d do with any ship that isn’t the Outlaw Star. And though I have a demonstrated preference for Zechs, I had to go with Duo as the funniest of the Gundam Pilots. He also drives trucks and flies planes, so I figure he can handle most anything!
I kept trying to come up with a woman to put in who wouldn’t seem to just be in it for the boobs. I thought of Nancy from Read or Die (aka Mrs. Deep), but the fan-service was a bit much. Though Sean might have approved…
Just a note: I didn’t want anyone to think I’m ignoring them so I’ll just say I have to do the cards in the evenings because I’m at work - and they frown on that sort of thing here. 
However the card factory will reopen this evening.

There is a conflict with gwensdad2003 and missmuffet with The Doctor. With Sean’s ruling there can be different Doctor’s and missmuffet specified the 10th. gwen was first to draft so is there a specific Doctor you like?
