Martial Artist: Hitomi (Cat’s Eye) (Which isn’t so much sci-fi at all, but strictly manga/anime. Does that count?) In the vein of last week’s heist movie, she is also an excellent art thief, who’s skilled in many disciplines including gymnastics, judo, boxing, karate, kendo, and aikido (according to wikipedia, at least. All I remember is that she does kick ass in more ways than one.)
In this case, will have to drop Lum (because she doesn’t really fit into other categories other than tech) and Videl (didn’t want two from the same manga) - in case anyone wants those (though I doubt it. :D)

For my tech I call Kaylee from Firefly if she is not taken yet. I will change Han Solo to Peter “Han Solo” Griffen so that Top Gun can rightfully have Han Solo since he was picked first by Top Gun if he still plans to play.

At first I had ideas of awesomeness, planning to recruit Wedge, Sam Carter, Master Chief and a Jedi for my team, but as so many of these were taken, I decided to go more for humour and amusement along with my badassery. Still not sure I’ve got the right tech man, though. Since I now seem to be both anime and snarky humour themed, further suggestions are welcome.

I too thot of taking Duo, easily my favorite character from Gundam Wing. Jim Hawking was also in contention for my tech as was Gene Starwind for my Pilot.
Jim is a great choice and now I’m gonna go listen to through the night…again.

I’m so glad I picked before you. You would have taken Motoko wouldn’t you? I almost picked Melfina from Outlaw Star as my pilot, but decided against it.

It’s slow at work today, so I give you a Team Hot Dogs:-
Pilot: Vincent (Lost) - Hey, he’s been in a plane, at least. And he survived the island somehow through 6 seasons!
Tech: Eddie (Frasier) - Living with a smartypants for 10+ years should rub off on him. And he’s probably the most well paid out of all these dogs, so he could BUY tech, if not use it.
Recon: Triumph the Insult Dog (LNWCOB)- Given how easily he throws out insults, seems like a very astute dog who can read anyone well.
Martial Artist: Lassie (Lassie)- Exceptionally well trained.
