Nope cause even in Avatar state he can easily still be killed (and for good) and hurt. A powerful Bender could still be a good competition for him in Avatar state. But Avatar Ang is not always in Avatar state. I feel confident in my creativity to not use him in Avatar State if the Powers that Be decree him to powerful.

Alrighty, now for some rulings and disputes.

  • Ok, since both teams still claim Han Solo, I went back to the email (checked out the replay, slo-mo, and so forth) and reviewed. Cat had Topgun beat by 38 mins on declaring his Black Ops team. So Han will play for Cat. Sorry guys on the late ruling, actually had to wait till I got home and could wade through the email. Seriously my most humble apologies there gents, that one is my fault, I was at work and couldnā€™t make a ruling, for sure, fast enough.

  • Also since I was unfamiliar with the Last Airbender until just a bit ago (I had to look him up) and total mastery of all five elements is up to the limit. However the kid can be knocked out pretty easy if you catch him asleep or not in full-on badass mode, much like Storm of the X-men. Storm can be defeated if you have the right strategy, as can the Airbender. I rule not a god. A powerful character to be sure but can be bamboozled quite easy. Hell heā€™s a pre-teen, show him porn, thatā€™ll distract his ass.

Yeah, Racer X was too tempting to pass up. His combination of top-notch driving skills and shady, secret agent background makes a good fit for the ā€œblack opsā€ theme.

On a different note, Iā€™m having second thoughts about one of my team-members. Does the movie Hackers count as sci-fi/fantasy related? What do you guys think? Should I keep Dade or swap him out for someone with better sci-fi/fantasy credentials?

The GF has never lived down the fact that she missed that Rex is Speedā€™s older brother. I never let her forget it, since EVERY TIME he shows up heā€™s introduced as being ā€œsecretly Speedā€™s older brother.ā€
