The More competant of the two Venture adults. A little neurotic, but charasmatic and ingenius, can actually invent things, unlike his twin.
Recon- Ezio Auditore de Firenze (Assassian’s Creed II)
Can climb just about anything, stealthy, and can see people’s true intetions via eagle vision. Can also kick some serious ass when needed
Martial Artist- Seong Mina (Soul Caliber)
She’ll kick your ass and look good doing it. All that really needs to be said.
This explanation may contain spoilers, although they arent really big in nature, I still don’t want to ruin it for anyone who didn’t play and might want a surprise in terms of the story.
[spoiler]He’s a god for about five minutes into the second game before getting his powers stripped from him by zeus. other than that, he is completely a mortal. he can use some magic bestowed to him by the gods: for instance, raise the dead for a few seconds, or throw lightning bolts from his hand, but aside from that, he is still able to die, and these powers themselves are limited in scope, if you compare them to the omnipotency a god would have wielding them.
so long as he is in mortal “form”, (i.e. in a phase before becoming the god of war or after his powers are taken away from him) theres nothing really that should prevent him being a playable character. [/spoiler]

Sean has ultimate ruling authority, but I feel your logic is sound. I have an image in my head from some movie where an immortal is made mortal and he is totally surprised when he begins bleeding…or was that Arnold Schwarzenegger in Last Action Hero? Either way, point made methinks. 
I put Kratos in the Team Bracket for now so that no one else can claim the character. If Sean rules him out, it can be changed.

Well, yes and no.
Downloading data and skills is not dependent on the Matrix, only the chair and the computer system. He may not be able to jump tall buildings in a single bound, but he still makes one heck of a fighter. That said, I have dialed down his stats accordingly.
One of the teams has Neo in play…why not Morpheus.
It took me about 3 days of serious consideration, but I’m ready to unveil my team, Phoenix:
