Those weird symbols that appear before each commercial break? They’re a code. And they spell out key items from each episode.

Thanks for posting that, tanstaafl. Tonight’s gylph came out to be WALTER I think. Glad someone figured it out.

Thats so cool, reminds me about Jerico and the morris code that show had. I like.

This just in. The part of William Bell has been cast. He will be played by… Leonard Nimoy!

Thats sweet. he must have got the acting bug again from the new star trek movie.

Heard his voice as a tease at the end of last night’s show.

Oh, where at? I must have missed it.

At the very end Walter is looking at an old videotape. On the tape you can hear Walter and William Bell (and an unidentified woman; Nina Sharp?) talking.

About Olive, no less!! I think that was the best episode yet. I’m loving Fringe more and more every week. And Nimoy just increases the awesome.

The First 10 were ok, got me to watch, but these last few really got me to love the show.

oooohhhh, maybe it is Nina Sharp. I like that idea, Tanstaafl. This week’s episode was a great one. After the ridiculously long hiatus, I am hooked and sticking with Fringe for the long haul.

I believe the writers are going to give fans a great episodes down the stretch, to keep us hooked for season 2. With Leonard Nimoy on board, how could the end poorly, right?

I am not watching much right now (24, LOST, Heroes (although reluctantly)), so I definitely have time for Fringe. Although, I believe I would make time to watch it, and it is quickly becoming my #2 favorite show, supplanting LOST.

Had two in last night’s episode: Near the beginning when the English guy was just entering the bar, the Observer walked behind him and looked right at him, and in the preview for next week where he approaches Walter.

First picture of Leonard Nimoy as William Bell

preview for next week. look forward to it.

Two TOS alums in one episode? Too cool.

I can’t wait to see Nimoy play bad guy in Fringe. Wait, he’s supposed to be a bad guy, right?

Thanks for posting the preview, Beach Bum! I watched this week’s on Hulu so I hadn’t seen it. I hope Walter doesn’t go anywhere with the Observer.

Love the son of Sarek joke. If you do that kind of stunt casting, you have to own it. We don’t really know whether Bell is a baddie or a goodie. I’d say the hints are strongly in the dark direction, but it could be an elaborate ruse.

Thanks for posting this pic. Excellent. I cannot wait to see the first scenes with Nimoy and Noble.

He has to be a bad guy, he’s wearing a black suit.
