Fringe

Watching Fringe right now and here’s a Nina Sharp sighting! Also, I’m glad they brought back the issue with Walter apparently owning the typewriter upon which the ZFT manifesto was written.

Sweet. I was watching an old show called Journyman and I started hearing Walters Voice, and then I saw him, it was wierd due the fact he looked so much younger but the show was only 2 years old. well thats all for today.

Good news for those of you that like fringe. It’s been renewed for a second season. check out the details on my blog

Journeyman :frowning: I have never recovered from this show being cancelled.

So was I the only sap who started crying when Walter did? He’s my favorite character, I don’t like it when he’s upset!

Great episode last night. I did start to tear up when Walter started crying at the end.

Anyone else think Nina had second thoughts about taking the elevator up to her apartment, when the security guy hardly acknowledged her? I mean, in a building with security/door man, they usually know everyone in the building, right?

I cannot wait for the season finale. I am glad Fox renewed it for a second season. With so may good shows getting the ax across all of the networks, I was a bit worried.

Glad to hear it’s re-newed. I agree alot of good shows are aleaving and being replaced with CRAAAAAAP (Reality Shows). I’m currently deployed but when I get home I’ll have to want the ones I’ve missied.

Totally Loved Journeyman, very sad with they let it cancel it’s self during the writers strikes. ever since then the networks are acting more and more wierd each year.

It’s been renewed and the season finale was a hit. Looks like Walter really did perfect dimensional travel!

Also, Leonard Nimoy’s cameo way way too short. What a nasty little cliff hanger!!!

Yeah, that final reveal was pure quality.

Yeah, I had called the reveal about Peter several weeks ago but that very last scene… did not expect that.

Did anyone see the headline on the paper about the “new” White House?

I’d heard people throwing around the big reveal about Peter a while back on some other forums I’m on, so that didn’t catch me off guard. The newspaper made me think, “Huh, wonder what that’s all about.” And then that last reveal… I actually gasped, sat up, and said “OH FRAK” (except I didn’t say “frak” :stuck_out_tongue: )

I’m glad I missed the spoilers regarding the reveal about Peter (I tend to avoid spoilers in general), though I guessed it early in the episode.

The newspaper made me say “huh” as well, and I did give it a loud “what the frak” during the last reveal.

Loved it!!! I cannot wait for season two.

Took me a sec to guess whose tombstone Walter was looking at, but knew for certain as soon as he told Peter about the coin collecting. I saw the newspaper and knew where Olivia was as soon as I saw the window frame as she began to peer out.

The preview mislead me to believe that The Observer meant to harm Walter and that it was Walter meeting William Bell. Nice job on that bit of distraction.

This is from over at E! Online. The contents of that newspaper in the other universe. I wonder how many (if any) of these will get mentioned in the series?

Oh, Fringe, how you tease us with your out-of-this-world fantasies. At the Television Critics Association press tour, Fox gave reporters copies of the newspaper seen in the alternate universe that declared the Obamas were moving into the new White House. Some of the other top stories from “over there” include:

* President John F. Kennedy is still alive and active in politics.
* The powers that be can manipulate the weather.
* The stock markets have been closed for 21 days and counting.
* All four Beatles are all alive and heading out on a reunion tour.
* New Orleans is hoping to host the 2016 Summer Olympics, leading us to believe the Crescent City was never hit by Hurricane Katrina.
* Genetically engineered glow-in-the-dark pets are available for purchase.
* Guns N' Roses' Chinese Democracy album was released in 2000!
* Dwayne Johnson plays the Terminator in a stage version of the movie.
* Former star Arnold Schwarzenegger is now a senator.

Is no one else around here watching Fringe anymore? Don’t see lot of activity, unless it’s in another thread somewhere.

Looks like they’re finally gonna get Bellie on tonight! Woohoo!

me and the guys on the USS George Washington love the show, we download a copy of each new episode we can when on liberty in ports. pass it around like the newest toy for xmas.

The weekend of October 22-24, Creation Entertainment held an Official Star Trek Convention in Rosemont (near Chicago), Illinois. Leonard Nimoy was not able to attend due to surgery, however he still made news via an announcement from Star Trek III actor Christopher Lloyd, who revealed Nimoy is returning to Fringe.

Lloyd Reveals Nimoy Returning to Fringe

Very cool! So did I read this right, that Lloyd’s going to be guesting as well?

Yes, as Walter’s “musical hero”, whatever that means.

I believe Lloyd will appear as a member of Velvet Sedan Chair, Walter’s favourite band (I’m going to guess that LSD will be part of that scenario!)
