We reserved a room at the Baymont Suites for $105 a night. We got the reservation a few weeks ago, and they said the rooms were going fast.
OK. If I showed up with a small suitcase, three pizzas, several bottles of assorted alcohol, and a pleasant, quiet demeanor, could I crash on the couch/floor?
Oh I know that, believe me. There are going to be people from other things I like as well - pluse it’ll just be fun to go and hang out, surrounded by other geeks like me.

We are trying, still kinda sorta in the planning stages. When I mean planning, last time I talked to Audra and Chuck about it, we decided that we needed to start planning. Man, too much to do this summer.

Have good costuming info. Guy that runs Sci-Fi Hero (Galactica Hero) is really cool to boot. Was fun buying a bunch of Stargate costuming gear out of the trunk of his car a few cons back
Hope you have a decent sized costuming budget.
There is also talk of a Skiffy meet-up (that technically I and some of the bunnies and I are planning). I know many of you don’t frequent Skiffy, but the people I know are coming are really cool, and would fit right in with the GWC’ers, so you are all welcome to join us.
I can also help with convenient places to meet-up with in the con hotels, or outside of the hotels. I also have a local friend (who listens to GWC), who can get us info for restaruants/bars and things. I know the place we went last year was pretty cool about us sitting there - it was a littleish bar, but it was connected to the Peachtree Mall, that is attached to several of the hotels. We had a group of 20 or so - and they weren’t too upset about it.
Trust me you will get lost at least once (and sometimes way more then that).
So all that being said I can a)help organize b)keep you informed of the Skiffy peep’s plans and c)attend.
