PORN!
Oh that was so great last night.
PORN!
Oh that was so great last night.
Worth catching up!
I just finished watching episode 5. It gets curiouser and curiouser.
I can’t tell if Echo’s message at the Chinese store was meant to misdirect, or if Paul really has someone helping him from the inside.
he played Badger. Roots in the community. Better than all of us.
Ep 6 was great. It was nice to see the focus shift, and a conspiracy start. If you understand the basic concept of the show, you could probably watch the first episode or two, and jump to the sixth.
After episode 6: I got to say i’m crushing on Mellie
both pre and post killing machine
Yeah, I have to say, this last episode (6) was the official turning point for me. I really enjoy this show and I’m glad that I stuck with it until this point. If I had given up on it sooner, I would have missed out.
Heh. I just kinda feel bad for Paul. He’s a smart guy but he just has not figured out yet that a company this powerful might be planting dolls to side track him from his goal. D’oh!
Me too…oh yes, me too.
OK, I caught up with all aired episodes this weekend. It’s definitely getting more interesting & engaging.
Episode 6, The Man on the Street was amazing! This is why I love serialized TV, for the episodes like this which are what I call, “Game Changers”. This episode also seemed a lot more like Firefly or other Joss shows then the previous ones.

There being more then one Dollhouse makes sense, but I did not see it coming at all. Its clear that this is a huge conspiracy or something of that nature. Both Balard and The Dollhouse have people they report too, who have their own agendas.
The line that I think was probably most important was what Echo said about “The dollhouse is in the business of fantasy, but that is not their purpose” or something like that. What is their purpose then?
So much stuff, need more time to think about it. Is Langton working against the Dollhouse?
Oh man we watched the latest episode last night - and it really was the best one so far. I feel so bad for
Paul when he finds out that his new lady is a doll…
Also - is Boyd the one on the inside? It seems like it has to be him right? Or maybe the asian girl?
Yeah I feel the same way.
Also - is Boyd the one on the inside? It seems like it has to be him right? Or maybe the asian girl?
I don’t think so because:
Boyd would be too obvious if something were to start going wrong. I also don’t think he has the capability of messing with an imprint. My money’s on the asian assistant
I really wanted to like it too. I suffered through the first 3 episodes like the rest. Then somewhere around the 4th episode, I caught a glimpse of what this show could be… I haven’t watched the last two episodes on my tivo yet, (which shows how excited I am about it so far), but I really hope to see more of that potential realized. And really, I think it will be.
This last episode really started bringing out the Whedon writing and humor that I’ve expected, and you can see a real story start to come out. Now I’m starting to feel good about the show.

Reminds me of a line from a crapy movie:
“I knew she was too hot to be trusted”
She would be suspect number one right now, although Boyd’s little conversation was the perfect diversion for what needed to be done. It could be both of them.
Is is wrong that…
…I find Mellie to be about 1000x hotter after she pwned that handler?
I watched the most recent episode last night. And it was awesome.
I especially enjoyed half naked Helo, I mean, Paul. Very much.
Agreed - this last episode was a good one!
There are three flowers in a vase…
No, it makes you at one with Sean.
I’d missed out on the show for two weeks running because my DVR could not reconcile stupid state high school basketball championships and refused to record Dollhouse even when I told it to.
Anyway, I finally hopped back on this past week and could hardly recognized the show I was watching. The actors and basic plotlines were the same, but everything seemed completely improved, up to speed, moving forward with momentum, and as I had once begged, the “engagement of the week” was not only short but had multiple facets and was of actual interest.
Great, great episode. Maybe there IS scripted TV after BSG.
Oh definitely. One of the main reasons that I decided to stick with the show was that I could see the parallels between these new characters and the ones I love so much from Firefly, though it’s more like an alternate universe where River is still in the hands of Blue Sun/Alliance “School” and she’s a little more geisha than super weapon. In fact, lately I’ve made it sort of a game trying to align Dollhouse characters with Firefly characters.
