Well, I may have been spoiled BIG time by io9 (I know, I know) and have discovered the identity of Alpha. If it proves to be true, Dollhouse has me hooked.

maybe I’mthe only one…but Im not feeling it. Doesnt grab you like Buffy or Angel or Firefly. With all teh times Fox has cancelled on him…Joss needs to come correct with it.
on the other hand…Dushku is impossibly hot…

I’ve only seen the first three, but it’s definitely uneven. I understand that Joss said the network was more hands off after the first five, so it may right itself after that.
I’m just glad they are doing the ‘previously on…’ so people can walk in the middle and hopefully catchup…especially since the episodes are being aired out of order…AGAIN.
And Dushku IS totally HOT!
I’ve missed the show two weeks straight because of high school basketball really ruining my DVR’s attempts to tape it properly. I know it’s on Hulu, but… it’s just not the SAME.
I felt that way for the first 2 or 3 episodes (though it’s a gorgeous show… that set!), but the episodes since the singer episode are really really good. Last week gave me the Firefly feeling - as in, where’s the DVD to watch the next episode RIGHT NOW?!, plus the dialogue is getting to be much more what I’m used to from Firefly. But part of that might also be getting to know the characters better, also.
I hadn’t heard about the out of order bit - so which ones have been shown so far? Next week is the famous “at week six things really pick up” episode if they were showing them in order
Me too. I’m really looking forward to it this week, more so than T:SCC which used to be my must see. I’m growing very attached to Paul (and his neighbor) and Sierra and the scarred doctor.

Additionally, we’ve finally had it confirmed to us by FOX that Dollhouse is getting jiggy with the episode ordering. This isn’t a big deal, as the first episodes were shot relatively stand alone, plus some were shot knowingly out-of-order, so the idea of getting the best episodes on air first works.
So I saw the most recent episode, and I really enjoyed it. Im happy to see Joss produce something of quality, even though im still longing for that Firefly-esque comedy that comed from true comrodery
ooh, so the next episode is the famous sixth ep. (even though we’ve seen #7, too? yes?)

I loved this week’s episode…looks like this show is leaving behind the formula and getting straight into the good stuff.
Oh, and Romo played Badger on Firefly, Mal’s “boss” a couple times.
