Thanks for the encouragement. I have been home with the kids for a few days and I have some thoughts going on my animation that I hope to get going soon.
I am bringing an old model into the mix as a battleship.
So from top to bottom: Aggressor battleship is 16.2 km in length, Terran Battleship is 4.5 km, and Terran Carrier is 500 m.
Just hoping I can make a good enough animation that people won’t crap on it. Might start as an animatic to get help to complete in the future.
Warriors of the Homeworld.
I just have to figure out what species to make them. I am almost thinking of going with this being an aquatic culture. I just don’t know what these bi-pedal
will end up looking like. I kinda want they warriors to be female clones just to make the animation a little easier. What do you guys think, could these ships be from an aquatic environment in your opinion?
I added a texture to the ship. Do you like this or should I try something different?
I like it. Have you thot about adding nebulas, ala Babylon 5?
Thanks for the support. If you mean nebulas in the background, I may add them into the animation. I am just finishing up the models so that i can start figuring out the motions I want.

I like the texture on the wings but the underside is a little distracting as its not clear what they are in the middle

this model is my bomber class starfighter. So that should tell you what is on the underside. The bombs are forward facing, so they may have to propelled and not free falling. Yeah I know how that sounds, free falling bombs in a space battle might not work. But I am still debating if my story will have some in atmosphere battle too.

Cool. I think it would be good if the ship stretched through the wormhole, it looks a little funny i think because you are resizing the ship as it comes through. If it streched through e.g. the front arrived in its final position .5 seconds before the back arrived in its final position then the distortion might absorb or distract from anyresizing issues? Just a though, don’t know how easy it is, Cool though
Maybe some sort of flash or pulse when the wormhole reaches full size as the space on each side equalizes or something like that?

This is why I love GWC, thanks for the advice. I do agree that there needs to be either a flash at the beginning or when the ship comes through. Hopefully it won’t take too much.

I prefer the last one, seems more fitting with what space would do…You are ripping it open…The only thing is that I think blue looks better, the only reason is cos I’m used to seeing blue from DS9…Maybe purple (isn’t that B5?).

Yeah like the blue seems a bit more natural I guess, maybe the pulse is a little large, looking good!
