Well, I think categorizing her as cool craaaaap was a bad move in the first place.
And Lately just implies death…which would work if she was a Zombie…wait are you taking a Zombie to the dance:eek::eek::eek:
Get the app iguarddog for your iPhone. Part of the money goes to shelters and it is only one dollar. You set the dog on guard duty and if anyone picks up your iphone it shows a video of a big dog barking.
So I’ve been hearing through the grapevine today that I’ve made the short list for an executive job with an ensemble out on the west coast. I totally applied for this job on a whim on Wednesday and didn’t think it would come to anything, but two of my references called or emailed today to talk about how excited these people were about me.
Not sure what I’ll do if I’m given the job (I know, I know, I KNOW…), but more on that later. I don’t even want to talk too much about this, just in case. All I know is that it feels damned good to be wanted, especially for something like this (it’s good money in a REALLY nice town).
Step 1: Open a Twitter account.
Step 2: Install TwitterFon or Twitterific. (TwitterFon > Twitterific >> every other iphone twitter app)
Step 3: Enjoy as GWCers incessantly tweet and hound you 24/7 wherever you are.
Welcome to the iPhone club!
I’ma doing a defensive driving course on Monday. Me on a racetrack. Scary idea?
That is so frakking cool. I’m jealous!
Congrats, and to everyone else for all the cool stuff I missed this week. Stupid full time job and three hour a day commute. Sigh, at least I have a job. I shouldn’t complain, it’s just an adjustment.
I will keep you in my good thoughts. You are wanted by us.
You on A racetrack? Yeah. You on Racetrack? Not so much scary as…:o
(Wait…this ISN’T the gutter?)
Awww, thanks.
Long time no chat. I know you are thinking it is that evil twitter coming between us.
I had fun last night checking the BSG twitters. They have all of the characters even Jake. A cylon used numeric code that was translatable.
Dr. C said Son, you realize that all this mutiny crap is going to just make the sickbay line LONGER. Frakking kids these days.
You know, I thought someone might say that! Hmmm, that gives me ideas…
I know. You’re all going to make me succumb, aren’t you? By the end of 2009 I’m going to end up wearing a suit to work, owning a Blackberry and getting a Twitter account. Frightening. Truly, truly frightening.

Can we watch?
No, but I can sell you a ticket
If this was the gutter I would make some crude comment about how Racetrack is able to find things easily
You forgot the IYKWIM.
so today i’m walking down broadway with a group of friends, and i stop while one friend goes in to a store to buy candy. A homeless guy comes and starts unfurling movie and tv posters on the ground outside the store. after seeing a few geek related ones (underworld / lycans) i stare intently as he begins to unfurl more. my friend knowing what my favorite show is comments that “he’s looking for a battlestar galactica poster.” the homeless guy says “come back tomorrow, i can get anything.” disappointed, i leave, with no intention to come back tomorrow. we’re halfway down the block when i hear him calling - and holding his last poster…
$10 later i’m gleefully walking down with a big poster for bsg season 4.5 “the final episodes” with admiral adama. it made my day!!!
Saved someones job for the next few months , a month of maneuvering and adjusting, and now it kind of worked at least for the quarter. cross your fingers folks.
It is nice to know you get joy out of saving someone’s job.
I had two days of the kind of weather I love. Not to hot not to cold. I went for a walk with the dogs on Saturday and listened to half the podcast. Today I did some yard work, picked some oranges and listened to the second half. Oh, the simple pleasures.
I enjoyed working on my house this weekend. I raked and Blew leaves all weekend. I now have 47 45-gallon bags of leaves stacked up and only one pile left to pick up. I also got to walk on my roof some. And made my front door all pretty like. It was a good weekend. I am sore and tired but happy and relaxed. Its a very zen like experience working in your yard. i am thinking of making a garden and grown my own veg and herbs.
