I went to a concert! like, live! and it wasn’t classical music.
This is the first time in YEARS I’ve gone to a concert. And it was coincidentally the person who is the person I saw at the first non classical music I ever went to as a youngster. Good times

One cool thing I saw today (but didn’t get to take a picture of it, dang it!): a 1985 DeLorean. Tricked out so that the dash board and other things on the instrument panel looked like the time machine in Back to the Future. It was pretty sweet.

I have what is now called the iPod 80 classic. My husband had it engraved with a loving birthday message. The only problem was he mentions my age.
During Open House I had more than one parent say their child had stated they are enjoying my history class. One even said her child never liked history before.
I just got permission to have a Frak Party at my house next saturday. Im forcing my friends to come over, and watch the BSG mini. Im not sure hoe people will come, but I have a bad feeling it will be 2
This isn’t something the cool that I’ve done. It’s something my kid did.
My daughter (9 yrs old) had a school field trip to the New Hampshire State House yesterday. And she got to meet the Governor of N.H. (John Lynch). And she gave him a hug! (that’s my cutie.) Sounds like he was very good with the kids, and funny.
He walked in with his Dunkin Donuts coffee in hand (you have to be a new Engandler to appreciate that) and handed it to an aid and said “Here. Hold this, but don’t drink it.”
He proceeded to ask the kids which of them had pets and what kind. And told the kids he has five cats. Anyway, sounds like he’s a good guy. He’ll be getting my re-election vote come November.
Two is still better than none. So say we all.
I just found out that a War Games 2 exists. As in a sequel to the 80’s movie. I have not watched it yet and am scared to. So im not sure if this belongs here or in the Suck thread but i figured i should mention it. You can stream it live on NetFlix

It’s OK… I’ve been slowly getting friends to watch it, though I actually start with 33 (and a few of them have even then gone back to watch the miniseries and kept going with the series without me pushing them about it.) But it’ll be fun no matter what, because you’ll be rewatching the miniseries!
For me the worst part about rewatching with people who haven’t seen it is keeping my mouth shut when they ask questions… uf hubby asked some questions about who were cylons and it was hard not to blurt things out… but I stayed strong, no worries. How could he know about the Final five at that point?

Got tix today for the AC/DC concert in Boston Nov 9th. My Bro-in-law, (it’s his B-Day too), TuckDog the Alpaca, and myself will be attend !! Never saw them before, really looking forward to it !
I got a job drummnig at my synogouge…which makes money to buy…COSPLAY COSTUME!!! so Im deciding between desert combat marine and some hybrid Razor assult/my own creation thing.
And I already have a few people comming to mr frak party, and there girls SHOCK
for me at least
