Cool craaaaaap you've acquired/done lately

I asked a girl out for a second date!

We’re gonna have lunch and then go see “Burn After Reading”.

First costume, stick with something recognizeable.

And I already have a few people comming to mr frak party, and there girls SHOCK
for me at least

Hey, you’re in a band now. Kinda.

Congrats! (To her.)

We’re gonna have lunch and then go see “Burn After Reading”.

Let us know how that is. I’ve heard mixed reviews. And I’m being a bit kind there.

e-pound it brotha’

I dont think more than one is in the budget:rolleyes:

Or more, I have groupies :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, its not compleatly different, its more of a one-off of the Razor boarding party, you can PM me ill show you what you what I have in mind.

Thank you for your moral support. Let’s hope she feels the same way. In all fairness, but it wasn’t her enthusiasm for our second meeting, but her failure to vigorously object that has won me this date.

Like I always tell girls, “I’ll take your tepid no as a strong maybe.”

Oh, that’s disappointing to hear! I’ve been looking forward to this movie… a Coen brothers movie featuring Clooney, Pit, Francis McDermott, and Malkovitch? It all sounds so good on paper!

I’m getting to goto see Trans Siberian Orchestra for my Bday…well a month after my bday but i get to see them, and i have great seats as well!!!

Sweet! I’d love to see them!!

I got to see them a few years ago and it was the most amazing show i have ever seen. I can not wait to see the show again.

Solai borrowed my material. Ok, he just moved it again.

pushing daisies blue ray pretty damn awesome

I have the day off today. That seems pretty cool to me. I get to spend the afternoon playing putt-putt golf with my 6 year old. Should be a blast.

(And maybe on my way home I’ll pick myself up a copy of “The Force Unleashed” for Wii…)

I.HEART.PUSHING.DAISIES.

Me too. Can’t wait to catch up with our beloved Pie Maker in a couple of weeks.

Should I watch the first season of Pushing Daisies? I’ve seen a bunch of episodes of Dead Like Me and didn’t really enjoy it

I did however acquire all of Gundam 00 and it’s pretty sweet, it’s got a Gundam Wing feel

Dillard’s was having a sale. 75% off nice shirts. Got seven. I be pimpin’.

Yeah, it’s a great show. Why I love it:

  1. Anna Friel is one of my all time TV-crushes. So adorable.
  2. Cinematography. Super-saturated colors, beautiful panning shots over fairytale landscapes… it’s like Tim Burton on LSD. Just breath-taking.
  3. Unapolgetically sweet. In an age where it’s considered cool to have cynical, wry humor (often bordering on mean-spirited and pessimistic) here’s a show that is positively saccharine and is proud of it.
  4. OLIVE! One of the funniest and most talented persons on TV.

I’m in agreement…only no. 4 chafes a little. I find Kristen Chenowith (did I spell that right?) a little grating…but on this show, she’s just, well, awesome.

And the show is sweet, often saccharine, but there is also a hint of irony to that sweetness that gives it a slight, sardonic edge JUST under the surface. This was my favorite new show last year. I almost didn’t watch it too, then my wife told me about it and sat me down with her to check it out. I was immediately hooked.

I was able to get into a beta test of a new website called GOG.com which stands for Good Old Games. Its a new site where you can goto and get a bunch of awesome old computer games really cheap. I just got a 2 for 1 deal. I got Fallout 2 which is one of my favorite games of all times for $5.99 and then got a space flight sim fighter called Freespace.

Whats cool is that on the site you get to download a bunch of bonus stuff as well. i got the Fallout 2 soundtrack for free as well. Whats even cooler is that the 5th track on the disk (well virtual disk any way) is called “Vats of Goo”
