I finally picked out a cat to adopt over the weekend. I had to wait until today to pick him up so he could get neutered. Here are my first three good pictures of Rodney.

He’s a cutie, no doubt. Looks a bit like my first cat, only about a fourth the size.

so today I put an offer in on what would be my first house!
found an awesome buy, its a foreclosure but its a brick house with an amazingly big yard considering its in the city (0.65 acres) would need some new carpeting and eventually I’d want to redo the bathroom but I’d be paying at least 300 less for the mortgage than currently am in rent
Yeah, but you can buy autographed publicity stills off e-bay. Bit tougher to get your picture taken with them without meeting them (unless you’re really good with photoshop )

Congrats. First house is a big step. My mortgage is higher than my rent was (even before HOA fees), but I have over three times the space.
I’m in a more expensive place renting than I would have liked but at the time I moved up here to transfer for a job (good thing I did too) I couldn’t find a decent cheaper place that allowed dogs, but it seems like a win win for me, cheaper housing payment each month, more space, and a nice big yard with plenty of room for a garden and bond fires! 
Bond fires? What’d you do, work for Lehman Brothers or Bear Stearns. Now I know where all that bailout money went!
