Nightwing:
I can not believe my eyes,
though prices have begun to rise,
but it’s plain to seeeeeeeeeee
a bargain in front of me… it is so nice.
Made me think of an Iron Maiden song : Wasted Years!!! lol:D
Last night, I timed my take-out order so I’d have exactly enough time to stop at the video store, get Indiana Jones & the Last Crusaed, and make it home with hot food. Except the video store’s going out of business, and the inventory is gutted. D’oh!
Today, I was driving to the nearest video store when I passed the library and realized the library has free movies. And they had it.
Don’t forget: Your local libraries probably has free movies! And TV DVDs. And books on tape. And magazines.
And books!
So I’m $4/$5 up on the deal.
Ah, your tax dollars at work…
LOL! Good job.
Just got an interesting e-mail. A producer from KBC (Korean Broadcasting) wants to send a crew over to film my costume stuff & “other interesting inventions” for a variety show they air. Yikes!
Yeah!!!
My wife, the librarian’s, been telling me that for years. So that’s where I got most of B5, [thread=‘8813’]Big Bang Theory[/thread], and all kinds of boring history books. Our local Blockbuster just closed too, so we’ll probably be using it even more. That and RedBox.
Fantastic! Make sure they give you a copy of the final segment.
All of our friends and family are safe. Some friends have relatives near the epicenter that they haven’t been able to hear from, so that’s worrying, but my conocidos all came through OK. Phew.
Phew indeed! I’m sure that’s quite a relief!
Karmic balance post: my friend who was missing in Chile is also, like Casilda’s friends and family, accounted for now. Big relief (she lives in Concepcion, which was the hardest city hit) there!
Also, a joke about a ukelele piece may have turned into a new commission for 2011. Probably without pay, alas, but a cool opportunity nonetheless as it’s for a friend’s ensemble in Amsterdam (not Hamsterdam).
A friend of mine had a cat named Shade, but one of his roommates was allergic, so now I have a cat named Shade.
While he was at my parents’ house, our other cat hated him. It was the battle of Basement Cat vs. Ceiling Cat under our roof.
vs.
That’s hysterical.
They’re both declawed. It was mostly a boxing match
That is very good news. You must feel very relieved.
OK, not funny anymore.
Declawed? That’s terrible.
I don’t have a frowny face sad enough for this.
Me neither My cat’s also declawed but it sure as frell wasn’t my decision (I adopted her from a shelter after a previous owner had her declawed).
How’s this?
