We had a real bad rain storm. I made it to work just in time to keep dry.
My engagement ring, which I haven’t worn for 2+ years because it needed to be repaired, is back where it should be Yay for getting stuff done.
I start rehearsals for the big National Gallery concert tomorrow. I’ve got a bit of a week from hell in front of me at the start of six weeks of almost wall to wall activity. All good and some potentially leading to permanent gainful employment (cross those fingers). If I’'m scarce, you know why.
I had the same problem since I gained weight. Then I finally gave up and resized my ring. Then of course I lost some weight. 
Mine needed to be repaired at a jeweler, and now it has been. Happy day.
(though I keep forgetting it’s there and it gets caught on stuff… which is how I had to take it to the jeweler in the first place… sigh.)

2 and a half aognizing weeks later, my laptop has finally arrived! the downside is that it arrived while i was shovelling snow before work, so now i’m at the office and my wife gets to crack open our first new computer in over 5 years.
I soent my bonus from work on a BIG pile of fancy hardback comics, and something for the fiance.

Yes, prayers are answered! They’ve postponed this weekend’s wedding show due to weather and rescheduled for February 13. I am so relieved, y’all. Because I really wanted to sleep in and try to get over this sinus infection, and I didn’t feel like meeting hundreds of women who’ve already found their someone.
