But if I wear flats I walk like a duck
Well, while I was doing my master’s I dated this girl at another school. One day when I was over her roommate came in wearing boots like that. I think they had to pick my jaw up from the floor (I’m surprised we kept dating for several months after that too). Call me a sucker for these things.
Sadly, the Mrs. would never wear anything like that and we’re well into the “predictable routine” period of our relationship to not make an issue out of it. (Well, the bank account has a say in this too.)
Though perhaps I’ve said too much…
Well, there is a reason why those types of shoes are sometimes known as “F–k me boots”
Well I wasn’t gonna say it
Here is the latest graphic my dad made for my piano endeavor. For those who don’t know, I’ve been keeping track of my piano practices since I was little, and every 200 practices, my dad makes a new graphic, which he then puts on a tshirt. This is the latest one, I think you guys will enjoy:-)
This is Madness!
I can guess, but what does the kanji say?
Btw, grats.
I’m having visions of you becoming an avant-garde pianist, playing these mammoth pieces from the 60s that last hours and hours. All because you’ve achieved a sense of zen in your playing through keeping tabs of all your practicing.
I’m being a geek now, aren’t I? :o
There is an on/off switch? I never knew that. Maybe now I can get a date:D
There is, and you can. The long-term secret is finding someone who doesn’t mind it too much in the on position.
I know. My best friend turned it off to get dates. I refused to compromise.
My wife summoned a new copy of [post=‘212200’]season 3 of B5[/post]. Yeah! And wouldn’t you know it, the first 2 episodes of disk 3 were awesome
That’s alright. I feel it’s my duty as the chick with the Luna Lovegood icon to say what everyone’s thinking without a second thought
Congrats on the new shirt Craprica! I’s got’s to say, your dad is coming up with some really great shirt designs. I’m interested in seeing what he comes up with next time.
I got this in an email from Reverb Nation today:
"Hello Sir!
I loved your “Mosh Pit” movement. In fact, it inspired the second movement of a string quartet I am working on that you can hear on my reverb nation page. (The Emancipation Quartet: II. Del Monstruosos Verdes) I am hoping you don’t consider it a ripoff, I wasn’t consciously thinking of your piece… Anyways, I can always start over if you do think so, it only took a couple of days, i’ll write a new one if need be. In any case, love your music etc etc."
That’ll boost anyone’s ego, I’ll tell you right now.
(Now, if you’ll excuse me, I need to call my lawyer…)
Then, you told him to do it over right? (:
I frakin’ hate it when people are inspired by me. Damn leeches.
Folk me boots?
Holy carp! I passed 500!!
Carp indeed. Congrats. To quote the great bard himself, “Oh~ halfway there, oh-oh~ living on a prayer.”
