Not yet. If she gets it, maybe. She’ll be working closer to home and I’ll be able to shirk off some of my childcare duties. And I’ll need it. I just got a timeline for one of the projects I’ve got coming up and the premiere is slated right on top of another big piece I have to write, plus I’ve got two chamber consortia trying to get going (one of which I’m leading and I’m way behind on already). It’s going to be a busy year!
Well, thankfully, school starts next week for our oldest, which means she’ll be out of the house and I won’t have to play Littlest Petshop with her as much (which, actually, can be pretty fun, so I shouldn’t complain).
I have Thurs 4:00 pm on my Positive Thots Sending calendar. Please let us know right away if she gets the job.

I had a great first day of the semester. One of those days that may very well have rekindled my passion for teaching. Maybe it’s the difference between freshmen/sophopmores and upperclassmen and grad students combined with it being too early in the school year for the administration to frak things up yet. Let’s see how long this lasts…
