The unpleasantness with which the week began (school related) appears to have been resolved… I won’t know for sure with the power of solid metal for about 2 weeks, but phew. I’m kind of furious that they put me through all of the crap I’ve been feeling the past few days, but it seems better now. Relief!
Yes, but only terminally insane people like seedless rye bread.
It’s like decaf coffee for baltar’s sake.
Oh Casilda, I feel your pain. Glad it’s over. My school-related situation is resolved for the time being as well. Whew!
Just arrived today.
Complete with my very own Larry.
Although when it said it came with a cylon I was kinda hoping for one of these models.
Yours didn’t? Mine came with my own Grace Park. (Not action figure… it came with my own human female.) It says here I have a week to play with her, but then I have to return her. I think she and I are going bowling later.
Larry and I will meet you there. Did you his bowling average is 260?
You guys crack me up.
In other cool craaaaap news: Sonia Sotomayor is now, officially, the U.S.’ first hispanic/Latina Supreme Court Justice. I feel pretty proud of that.
Me too! YAY And only the 3rd woman to serve on the Court.
I got a new CD; Charlie Mars. Gotten off a recommendation for $1 haha.
Then I got T2 EXtreme Edition for only $3.99! Pretty happy about that.
Dig deeper in the box. She’s all folded and waiting for you to blow her up.
Going on a date tonight with the girl I took to New Years. Life went kind of crazy this year, so we didn’t get to do much more than hang out a couple times since then. But things have settled down recently, so I called her this week and said I wanted to ask her out for real this time. We’re going to an outdoor concert at the St. Louis Zoo with a friend of mine and his girlfriend for a double date. I’m picking her up in an hour-and-a-half, and feelin’ good.
Good luck, Stroogie. Have fun.
Go get 'em tiger. We look forward to your after action report.
I spent the day at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History (with a foray into the Air and Space Museum during the last hour) with my seven year old, Olivia, today. It was a great time. After dinner tonight, we capped it off with a trip to the ice cream shop. A splendid time was had by all, even though I heard the two stupidest things I’ve ever heard in my life during the day (at the museum’s hall of mammals a woman insisted that she did not believe in evolution–specifcally human evolution from ape-like ancestors–even though she was surrounded by evidence for it. At the ice cream shop a young woman boasted to her friends about making out in front of people with whom she’d already made out, which made me ask my daughter to make sure she grows up with a lot more self respect than that. She gave me that “daddy, what the frak are you talking about” look of hers and promptly said, “huh?” but my point was made.)
complained about a bad bordering on tragic date, but hey its still my first date since the break up; so what the hell
Hang in there. It’s not like riding a bike. it takes doing it over and over and you’ll get back in the swing of things.
and there should be very little peddling…:)
The Zoo! Yay! I hope it went well
I spent several hours yesterday and this morning cleaning and organizing my office. It’s all done! My scrap book supplies are in order, I got rid of tons of trash and useless things and my writing area is ready for me to sit down and start the next book. It feels good to have it all done before I head back to work and life gets crazy busy again.
You want to come over and clean mine?
One more week of freedom.
