Cool craaaaaap you've acquired/done lately

I thot I picked up on something on twitter!

she signs her neme at the end as else (like this -ELSE)

We purchased a new door for our garage on Saturday at the company’s “rummage sale” . The door, installation, and disposal of old (heavy wooden crappy) door cost us less than the original price of the door. AND - they actually had one that matched our odd-ball sized opening. When I got home at lunch today, I was welcomed by the following site:

I didn’t even know they were coming to install it today! But it’s teh awesome!

First let me say yeah i know low post count I have been bad. Now about what the lovely Miss Cackleberry said yes how lucky am I. To find someone on Twitter that not only is super fun to talk to, can also tell the difference between a T-800 and T-700. We stared to reply to each others tweets mostly about our crappy jobs then one thing lead to another and we have arrived at this point. I am sure the woman who has stolen my heart will keep you all posted on any new happings.

Why thank you, thank you very much

I’ll try not to be. I’m going to read up on the cool crap, life sucks, and of course gutter threads to see what I’be missed.

I’m very glad I joined, got lots of new friends and this awesome guy

Aren’t you perceptive

Awww, isn’t he just the sweetest?

Well, as I’ve said before, GWC is The Love Boat. It’s love that keeps in the air

…uh…water :slight_smile: ----> http://forum.galacticwatercooler.com/showthread.php?t=6014&highlight=Love+Boat

That’s an awesome post, those pictures must have taken you ages. So cool to see my pic in there. I’ve missed you all, I’m definitely back on deck

Welcome back, Cackleberry! And wow Thot, that’s a lovely montage you’ve assembled

Yay. New door. Congrats!

That’s an awesome story. Congrats. Have a great time you too. Dr. Quest, be sure to have her back by midnight.

Given the time difference between them, I have a feeling that won’t be a problem!

I made some bread, and it’s delicious. happy sigh.

:o Thanks. Yeah, it took me a while to do it. But you people drive me to moments of insanity like that----in a good way of course.

Congrats cackleberry, and welcome back. I think the holy trinity have missed your Aussie twang for their intros…

gaf

I would love to here Cackleberry say the new looooong intro.

Yay!! I just ordered my Dollhouse season 1 DVD from Amazon!! And soon i will order my BSG 4.5 DVDs!!

Picked up season 4.5 of BSG this morning. Got myself a couple of books too (“Sacred Games” by Vikram Chandra and “Balthasar and Bilmunda” by Jose Saramago, for $8)…and, when I got the mail, I’d received a gift book from my step father (about the fights for Latin American independence from 1810-1830. I’d expressed some interest in reading up on my Simon Bolivar while they were visiting).

I haven’t been able to enjoy these yet as I’ve been either exercising, composing or shuttling/watching the girls most of the day, so, if you’ll excuse me…

Hey, it’s you Yanks that have the twang, I sound normal

I did record the long intro but I think it wasn’t quite right for Chuck to use. I will record it again this weekend and see if I can get it to where it needs to be for use.

Well we can all take a trip to the asylum together

Well done! That’s an effort but worth it in the end

Midnight for each of us means that the other is at work, so yes I think that is a safe bet. Stupid time zones and stupid work

Thanks Em!

Ooooh fun!

I’m waiting for mine to be delivered (and my season 4 CD), which is just as well as I’m in the final push of a project and I fear that those nice glossy shiny CDs and DVDs would put me off track

and new books! awesome! they always make me happy (except when I buy one online and it gets lost in the mail… even if it was hegel. whatevs.).

Soooo, question for you. Do you prefer to read actual books or digital editions? I don’t mind digital but there’s nothing like the smell of ink and paper if you ask me!
