Confession Time

Also watched ‘Hand of God’.

I’m really digging how the Cylons aren’t just Terminator-like robots out to destroy humanity out of some computer logicish reason. The religious aspect is pretty fascinating.

Meanwhile, back on Caprica.

I also like how it seems that Six and Caprica-Boomer are playing this game of cat and mouse. Not quite sure yet if it is for real, but it sure seems like Boomer is actually afraid of getting caught by her. Dissension in the toaster ranks it seems.

Also, awesome quote from a few episodes back.

“You forgot to wash your hands!” …I love that guy

oooooooh, the mystery!

additional about Tigh Me Up… I loved the sitcom ending. Even down to the funny background music.

They should have went the whole way:

“You thought I was a Cylon, I thought you were a Cylon! Ohh!”.

Freeze Frame on laughing Adama and…roll credits"

Love The Hand of God, one of my favorite eps. The music at the end when the reserve Vipers come in… Starbuck’s first attempt at command… love everything about it.

A great ep. Ironically, Starbuck’s ‘out of the box’ tactics actually involve putting Vipers into a frakking box.

I will echo what everyone else has said and say that I am loving this thread and look forward to vicariously experiencing your journey through BSG.

Agreed. That suprise move when the Vipers came out of the decoys, I was like “Oh Frak, Man!”.
I wished they would have told me their plan, but i could have been a Cylon infiltrator so it’s all good

Thanks  I’m loving everything about it so far…esp Gaius. You hate what he’s done but you’ve just got to laugh at what he gets into.

Btw, is that one of Jumba Jookiba’s experiments as your avatar?

Finally got to watch ‘Colonial Day’, frak’s gettin’ serious now.

I have to say that BSG, so far, has the best bathroom scenes, bar none, of all the tv shows i’ve ever watched.

Not saying that Pres Roslyn has 100% good intentions but, Zarek seems like every sleazy, smooth talking politician all rolled into one evil package.
I said a few posts back that I hated Ellen Tigh more than I hate Snarf. I have her more now than Sheldon hates Evil Wil Wheaton.

On the back of the DVD box there is a little description of the episode and it said Laura makes a surprising choice for a VP, for some reason I was convinced it would be Starbuck. Gaius makes much more sense though

I thought they were going to get caught back on Caprica breaking into that base, but that was an awesome twist, him seeing Sharon’s duplicate and putting it all together. Though now I can’t see how they can make it back out of the base, given how much noise Boomer’s gun must’ve made.

Can’t wait til I get to watch the 2 part season finale!

It was actually Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. The same guy that did that movie also did Lilo and Stitch. Awww want to watch Stitch now

Make sure you post your reactions to it!

Now I know how Andi felt when I was watching LOST

FYI to the ppl following my progress through BSG: i haven’t forgotten about it. Holiday stuff is putting a wait on watching tv. But, i’m still in it!
[sosay*we all]

Can’t wait to hear your reactions to it!

This thread is making me want to rewatch the series again!

Just watched Kobol’s Last Gleaming Part 1.

Excuse me.

I need a drink.

… okay.

Good gods, everyone is clearing losing their collective minds.
Starbuck and Gaius giving it rizz, Laura following her hallucinations like they were gospel (no pun intended) and…well if you’re a Sharon Model Cylon…it’s just a bad day all around.

I was genuinely surprised when Starbuck jacked the Cylon Raider, I thought she would maybe jump into the Basestar and forgo the autopilot to make some sort of amends for all the mistakes she’s been making. But, alas, no, she’s presumably going back to Caprica to get this artifact.

I really need to start watching Part 2.

…and get another drink.

ah, to vicariously relive the experience of seeing all of this for the first time.

If you thought you needed a drink after Part 1, just wait until the end of part 2.

Getting that 3rd drink now.

Let me just say this: HOLY MUTHA FRAKKIN $%#!!

I just have to start at the end. I physically jumped when the Old Man got tagged. And I think my heart really did skip a beat. Srsly.

Man there was just so much jammed into this episode!

Going back to the end, I have to wonder if Boomer just came to grips with what she really is or if her programming shone through for just a brief moment, it almost looked like she was disoriented on the very last shot of her.

I have to side with Cmdr Adama on the whole Cylon Raider thing, it was not Laura’s call on what to do with it and she put everyone’s lives on the line for her crazy scheme. I wonder what Starbuck’s real reasoning was behind doing what she did. Did she just want to see Caprica that badly? Knowing full well what state she would find her former home in?

Is it just me or did everyone else really want to see the baby on the stage of the Opera House? I also have to ponder on if it is Sharon and Helo’s kid or if it is Six and Gaius’s future child? Guess I’ll have to find out.

ON TO SEASON 2!

Yeah. First time I saw that I needed a forklift to pick up my jaw. I was sitting there enjoying the feel good ending and then BAM (literally). I love watching people’s reactions the first time they experience that scene. I wish I had been there.

But you weren’t, were you?
::slowly turns around to look behind the Xmas tree::

Holy craaaap, what an ending, huh?! This is alot of fun, watching you go through the episodes.

Cheers.
