YES!! YES !!!! YESSS!!!!!!!

MORE good news from Bear’s Facebook page:

The man seems to have a season’s worth of music to be writing

Really? What am I missing because i just see BSG-BC 101 which just sounds like season 1 ep 1 to me. That’s probably just the pilot we’ve been watching…though obviously I hope it’s a bona fide new episode.

Too right! I’ll buy the soundtrack. Frakkin’ sweet is right !!

Maybe I’m just being excessively optimistic since:

  1. I first found out about B&C from Bear’s page
  2. All the music for the B&C webisode is already done and he’s doing more work on a full blown series

That appears to be the individual audio masters for the soundtrack of the pilot. I don’t see anywhere on his facebook page that he’s still working on new scores for B&C. If you do…add a link!

And the pilot is what they are airing on you tube now isn’t it?

Unless he’s remixing them for the actual TV air (I’d think they’d have to be done by now for the Blu Ray/DVD release right?)

Yeah the pilot is what is on YouTube. I think they remix with longer versions for the soundtrack album releases. You only hear small portions of the music during the shows.

Just finished it. It was pretty great. If this is all we get I’m going to be pretty disappointed though.

I’m with you on that.

Good and bad news. My sweet spot is reached = first episode is now at 2.6 million views with a sluggish but steady increase of 33% (eyeballing that) over the last three weeks. Retention is pretty poor though. A majority are still not watching the remainder with episodes 2-6 evening out around 850K views.

I’m hopeful for a big post-Christmas bump from all those unwrapped mobile devices wanting something shiny to watch. Machinima Prime will continue to “broadcast” until April. In this strange, but welcome, new world of video on demand, only then will the fat lady sing and the bean counters tally the bottom line. Frak you same day Nielsens.

Honestly… we are not going to see any more of it. If Syfy gave a shit about this project, they would have given a shit about this project. Syfy is a TV channel. How much faith do they have in a project that they wont give it 2 hours on that channel? Putting it online before it airs on TV is just going to make the numbers worse when it does come out on TV, similar to Caprica being on DVD before it aired. There has been no promotion for it that I have seen. They are trying to get a little something back after they fucked up, with a tiny little foot note in the history of their best show ever.

EDIT: Ok, I’m not having a great day, lol. The point still stands.

Unconfirmed scoop, but they’ve had BSG scoops previously.

TVWISE: Syfy Sets Premiere Date For ‘Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome’ TV Movie 1/06

I’m looking forward to seeing this as one long movie, instead of short webisodes. It felt a little disjointed watching it that way. I was a tad bit disappointed in the ending. I wanted more of what the Cylons were up to at that time in their development. And I also felt that there should have been more to make Adama freak out about the Cylons and harbor such hatred towards them and their technology. Was it all really because he was upset his dumb turncoat girlfriend got killed, LOL?!

I did love the fact that Six showed up at the end, however.

I thought that had more to do with what happened at the end of the war (in the Razor webisodes) or a combination of everything he experienced over the entirety of the war.

Don’t forget…it airs on Sci-Fi Sunday night 8pm EST…I’m excited to see it in full on the actual TV…

In a much more inhuman vindictive manner too! Still loved it.

I’m thinking that they didn’t air every frame in the webisodes and that we’ll see a few new things in the broadcast. Fingers crossed! I’m looking forward to seeing it on the big screen too.

The Facebook ad confirms this…I’m glad…the webisodes did seem choppy and these extra scenes tie them together better I hope…

Cool little video about the making of the music for Blood and Chrome:

Love his music! Thanks for sharing this.
