X-Men Frak Party

Tonight’s first episode, “Weapon X, Lies, and Video Tape,” was or broadcast during Fox’s Sunday-evening prime-time schedule on June 11, 1995, in tandem with the first-season finale of another Marvel cartoon show, Spider-Man: The Animated Series.

That’s funny, I distinctly remember watching it during prime-time, but I only remember X-Men being on that night.

“You slime-sucking dirtbag!”

No wonder they had to air this at night. Such harsh language.

So Jean froze Cyclops to stop him from hurting Wolverine? Interesting.

Silver Fox, huh?

Awesome.

Sorry I’m late. Nephew was crying just before 9. Priorities.

Yikes, that static on the screen wouldn’t play anymore, would it? Kids these days wouldn’t know what that is.

Need me to pause for a bit? I’m at 15 min in.

He actually had that hairstyle before modern hair are products? He really is a mutant. :stuck_out_tongue:

Just start the next Ep at :30. I’ll catch up.

Looks more like a Gunmetal Fox.

Awesome.

Now there’s a silver fox.

Sabretooth wouldn’t be nearly as creepy if he still wore overalls.

Sounds good. This episode covers a lot of the same ground as the Wolverine movie, Snorigins.

At least now we know that Wolverine has a hole in his skull.

TALOS!

“I’ll dig the hole. You plant the seed.”

Oh my. /Takei

That is such B.S. If Wolverine strikes his claws together, he doesn’t cut them apart. The adamatium in the bullet and his skull would cancel each other out. And even if they didn’t, his healing factor affects his brain, too, so all his neurons would be restored - otherwise he’d be a vegetable.

Agreed. If Mjolnir with all of Thor’s strength behind it can barely dent adamantium, there’s no way a little bullet can punch through it.

Neurons can heal without restoring the data stored in them.

Assuming the brain works like a hard drive.

Which it doesn’t.

So this is basically Age of Apocalypse, huh? Interesting character designs.

So how did Magneto become a general? I didn’t vote for him.

Wouldn’t that data include how to walk and talk and whatnot? Assuming it resets to zero, how can he remember English?
