See, that’s just it, Magneto’s not evil. Even as good as these movies are, they don’t really express the genuine dichotomy of the two arguments, which are both essentially based in enlightened self-interest. The simple fact is that both Xavier and Magneto care about “people”; it’s just that they have a differing view of how broadly that term is defined.
