RE: Vent/TS; I’ll poke around on the forums and see if there’s the Vent/TS info in the EVE threads and try it and report back. If it’s working, lets get it into the Alpaca Syndicate guild info. Always great to have the option.

(to be fair, I first saw the fight yesterday… but it only took us 3 attempts to get old Arthas down, and my dps rocked!)

I’ve been a WoW player for about 4 years now and work is finally giving me (ok I’m TAKING time) to play again. I’m on Garona so if anyone else whos a GWCer is on look me up. My main toons name is Adarine.
My copy of Cataclysm hasn’t arrived yet. Could someone fill me in on how much fun the new zones are while I’m at work?

BTW, Finally got to experience a midnight release, after my previous epic fails for BC and WotLK. However, my careful plans to take today off work did not go so well. I believe today will be an exercise in clock watching…

I just downloaded the client again. I haven’t been in Azeroth since 2007. I don’t even have Burning Crusade. Why am I doing this?
Every time I get out, they pull me back in!
((Do I have to get Crusade, Lich King and Cataclysm? Getting the first two seems pointless but I dunno…))
OK, apparently I do have to get Burning Crusade and Lich King before I can install Cataclysm. Sigh. I’ll see y’all in-game a dozen gig of download from now. 
Okay, loving the new Worgen experience. What’s doing it for me are the new buildings and ‘feel’ of Gilneas. The accent may drive me nutty after a while, but the overall Olde England/Steampunk/Translyvania feel of the zone is pretty Ossim.
Did you get the sweet tophat quest reward? For some reason, I got really excited when I got that.
And I agree, I love the feel of Gilneas and the whole quest line is very well done. I think Blizzard did a great job.
Lol, yup, got the tophat, but I hide cloak and helm on my toons, so I’m wearing it but not ‘sporting’ it.
This is my first rogue in a loong time, but I’m digging the subtlety tree and shadowstep! Still miss wearing plate though!

I finally got everything set up again and created a toon on Staghelm. Name is tanstaafl, a Goblin hunter. I may reroll since I’m finding the Goblins a bit on the silly side.
My highest level character anywhere is a level 44 Tauren hunter, but he’s over on The Scryers. Not sure it’s worth the $25 to try to bring him over though.
I look forward to seeing you I’ve been leveling my main over on Uldaman and having a great time swimming around Vashj’ir… once I get her to 85, though, my play time will probably be for my Tauren pally
(and don’t worry… we’re still leveling! Or were, last I looked…)
