The thing i have with that is that if one of the seven is one of the final cylonshow could thier be 12 modals? Wouldn’t it have to be a whole modal?
Good question. Is there any reason that we could not have a D’Anna model that is a FF - fundamentally different and then a series of #3’s? After all, if 4 of the FF believed themselves to be humans for years, why not the FC believe he/she is a S7 only to learn that he/she is also one of the FF or the FC?

You bring up a valid point about FF humans not being aware of themselves. Who’s to say that this can’t be true of cylons.
I’ve had an out there thought of my own. Maybe Starbuck’s shiny new viper is the last Cylon. It would appear to be singing the song the other four are hearing. And it was ‘revealed’ at the same time they were.
I’ve heard a similar theory where some one said the Galactica was the FC. So the Viper would be the re imagined version of Kitt. (Another Glen Larson creation. )

You know, the final Cylon could be the one who got the idea to nuke the colonies and now feels really bad about that.

Well, up until Rapture she didn’t know what she was doing. The Opera House maybe made her aware of the guilt.

Last time we addressed this your comment was akin to “mate, you’re out of your blinking mind”. Slow and steady progress.
Issues with “my” theory remain, such as D’Anna’s apology - if it was directed at the FC, why would she apologoize to “herself” - and insufficient surprise expressed, when she saw herself - yet, I am no expert on Cylon “reactions” and, if they had gone overboard with her reaction, that would have presented “suspense” problems.
It’s easy:
1/2 Cylon sub original + 1/2 Cylon sub final = 1 Cylon
My thought is that maybe she was apologizing for all the pain and suffering she was inflicting on herself searching for the answer of the final five. Remember that she kept killing herself over and over.
