Actually, wouldn’t that equal 1/2 Cylon? (There are two human and two Cylon parents.)
Or would it be 1/3 Cylon? (Callie=human+human, Tyrol=Cylon, Athena=Cylon, Helo=human+human)

For all we know, they got re-programmed five minutes before Baltar asks Six about them.
BALTAR!!!
Hit the dirt!!! Incoming!!! Whew! That was close.
(It is amusing to go back and read the earlier threads on this issue. The only one who did not suggest I be institutionalized - that may be a good idea in any event - was GR - to whom I now shall refer as Meister GR.)
Anyway - yours was one of my thoughts. Also, if not aplogizing to those thought to be human instead of the FC (explanation #2), could be apologizing to herself for participating in near extinction of humanity - which makes big assumption that C7 understand the FF (or some of them) to be tied to humanity.
If D’Anna is the FC, we have to work out exactly what that means. Is she a unique #3 - that is fundamentally different from the C7’s including the other 3#'s - has to be, right??? Was she created by a source other than the C7’s, including the other #3’s - has to be, right???
We have some idea about who might have created the C7 - Greystone - although this is not clear. And we have some notions about what they are, especially if that is the case.
We know virtually nothing about who the FF were “created”, when or, indeed, what they really are. Next to no posts on this.
Does anybody other than I think that the Lords of Kobol probably were Cylons of one sort or another? What about the 5 priests? The #'s line up, but, if they were Cylons, what were the Lords, espcially the Lord that they worshipped.

Well, my theroy is that the five priests are the FF. That explains who we see in the visions etc. Like the FF have a connection to the real world and the “space between life and death”. As for the LOK, I was mistaken in assuming that the priests were LOK for a long time. But, it’s an interesting idea if they were cylons. To be honest, I’m lacking in knowledge about the LOK and the whole pythia gods part of the story.
Visit the Battlestar Wiki site - enter LOK’s and you too can be an expert.
Here’s where I get bogged down - probably in over thinking. It makes all the sense in the world that the 5 priests and the FF are the same - or that the FF were/are the result of the 13th Tribe attempting to perpetuate or recreate the 5 priests. There are problems with great amounts of time and/or distances with this, of course.
If the 5 priests were fundamentally different types of Cylons, I guess they could have existed on Kobol at the same time as “pure” Cylons, who were the LOK, but they sure have been around for a long time for a “species” that appears to age.
The basis for thinking the the LOK may have been “pure” Cylons is pretty simple (for once) - virtual immortality (absent death caused by injury as happened with Athena) and extraordinary strength.
This math refers to Tigh and Caprica’s child so it’s 1/2 of Caprica (a full original Cylon) plus 1/2 of Tigh (FC) makes 2/2 Cylon, much as you are 1/2 of whatever your Mom is plus 1/2 of Dad makes 1 you.
If Hera and Nick had a kid in many years hence, it would be 2/4 Cylon.
Exactly! Which is what they have in common.

I mentioned in another thread how I believe the FF are the Cylons of the 13th tribe. It’s not a stretch to think that the FF went and set up the temple of the five before infiltrating themselves into the 12 colonies. So a half assed summary of my current theory is…
The 13th and cylons blow each other up on Earth. Then for some reason the five remaining cylons go and set up the eye of Jupiter. Finally the FF die and reincarnate/resurrect into the 12 colony human population to lead them to Earth.
TighFighter, PLEASE kill that sig GIF. It creeps me the frak out.
PLEASE?
+1
The look on that Ewok’s face… isn’t how I would like to remember them.
The Temple of the Five, an Earthling temple, with its Five Priest devoted to the One Whose Name Cannot Be Spoken and the Hybrid’s declaration that the 5 are from the home of the 13th sure seems to be saying something along those lines. However, I think the Tribe of Earth built the temple during their exodus at the direction of the FF for some lost purpose rather than on the Five’s return trip.
Along those lines, I wonder if the Algae Planet was something akin to New Caprica for the Tribe of Earth. The show didn’t mention anything, so who knows. If there’s another cycle, who knows what they’ll make of New Caprica City and that ‘dollhouse’.
Here’s some things we know from Battlestar Wiki - see under 13th Tribe. The Temple of the 5 Priests is 4,000 years old - a pretty good indication that it was built while the 13th was on its way to Earth or where ever. The bouy found by the Cylons in the Lion’s Head nebula has a virus on it that Doc Cottle says is 3,000 years old.
NOW - if the writers have not played fast and loose with their dates or distances (I guess one could argue that the Cylons came closer to Earth and found the bouy and then moved further away to end up on the aglae planet) - the bouy is/was further from Earth when found, yet newer.
So, the temple pretty clearly was built before the 13th arrived at Earth, but then there’s that bouy.
If you had all the answers and most likely control wouldn’t you sit back see what those crazy humans and lackawanna skinjobs do next?
The age of the bouy comes from the DNA matching a strain known to the colonials to be about 3600 years old. One wonders how accurate such an aging mechanism would be. But, then again, I never quite got how they happened to have the DNA of bacterium lying around from way back on Kobal. You know, a pre-Kobal-to-the-Colonies exodus genome. But there you are.
