What's your Galactica callsign?

What about Falcon, lifted from Searider Falcon. It connects to Barn Owl, owls and falcons are both raptors. It connects to bookworm… well its a book

When you said you shaved your head, I just imagined you doing it w/ a strait razor and thought that would be badass, so I figured Strait Edge for a callsign.

There’s a difference between a straight edge, and straight edge.

(Weird how much language discussion there is around here.)

I want the callsign “pancake”

and don’t really know why

Isn’t that a really, really bad landing?

I did not know that, I guess to avoid THAT confusion, he could go with Straitedge.

That would be so cool, and therefore, not me. :stuck_out_tongue:

The Straight Edge movement is against basically all of my favorite things. If anything, I’m more “Bent Edge”.

It’s almost like we use it for communication or something.

I know! I will have a call-sign that will strike fear in the hearts of Cylon everywhere: Pipe.

Vvvvvvv-Vvvv-Vvvv

In my quest to find the right callsign I stumbled across this reference:

Air Force Callsigns

Both amusing and interesting.

It is indeed. (Feeling lucky I got away with what I did.)

My HS mascot was the Mighty Hopper, as in grasshopper. For graduate school the mascot was the Golden Flash. Anyone is free to use either of those if they wish.

I see sarge it is.

Now, how do I get my dog tag on my signature and keep my cool ubanimator sig as well?

Best idea EVER!

I’ve been thinking and thinking…maybe “Black Sheep???”

Hi! Upon much deliberation - I’m going with Booker. Solai, has anyone taken that call sign yet?

In your signature, sandwich the image address between (IMG) and (/IMG) , but with brackets. My Photobucket address didn’t work for some reason, so I saved the image elsewhere.

More names:

I gotta say, Matilda has a certain ‘cleverness’ and distinguishable ‘Australianness’ to it. But then, I’m not a raving flag-waving patriot, and often cringe at the behaviour of my fellow countrymen when they are overseas. And, of course, it is a girly handle. (Not that girly can’t be macho and butch…) Oh, and three syllables.

But Skeptic? I’ll take that any day; wear it as a badge of pride! (Looking through my bookmarks, I see links and RSS feeds from: Pharyngula, Bad Astronomer, RichardDawkins.net, Neurologica, Freethought Radio, Skepticality, Are We Alone, and many more… So yes, that tag does fit…)

Old joke: How do you know you have a fighter pilot at your party? They’ll tell you.

Also a post to show off my new sig

That’s the apparent problem with service nicknames - the “wearer” gets stuck with one. Matilda should be it. Don’t worry about the jingoism - it’s a great song and last time I checked none of us were really Viper or Raptor pilots.

Speak for yourself man. My Mk Dos has flames on it
