He’s killed the ringleaders but what about the others? It seemed to me that at least half the crew was on the loosing side. Is it Airlocks for the lot of them. cause Galactica really wouldn’t have enough people left to run it properly.

It’s pretty much a given he can’t airlock them. All he can really do is welcome them back with the understanding that this cannot ever happen again, on penalty of death. He doesn’t really have much for options.

But he can’t really just let them go with a slap on the wrist. Many of them have killed crew mates on the Adama/Roslin faction side. Even if he tried the soldiers on other side might never serve under Adama again considering there extreme feelings.
and how do you argue with the defense of an enlisted man who says “… the legal VP came in the room and gave me an order. Told me that ADAMA was in rebellion ( which was kinda true) and an Officer ( Gaeta) confirmed this and told me what to do.” Makeing it a legal order. It’s this reson that militery has a rank structure. WE KNOW all, these guys know just what they see.
Most of the guys and gals will get a free pass. I bet my life on it.
Then you have to go by the crime. Murder should be treated as such, of course, and if someone refuses to serve, they should be dishonorably discharged at best.
If I were Adama, I think I might have just found my new poo-barge crew.
Do a long drawn out investigation of all mutineers and figure out who did what, and punish them accordingly.
Like, if you killed a bunch of people, you get airlocked.
But if you just went with the mutiny out of self preservation, a demotion.
It would be unfair to give everyone the same punishment.
I absolutely agree, but it will take time, and we probably won’t see the details except in a few special cases.
What if it becomes a running plot thread, and Romo develops an inappropriate client-attorney relationship with Racetrack? Or Selix?

I’ll amend my previous statment and say that Starbuck won’t let Seelix get to trial…
Except for that fact that Gaeta was actually rebelling, not Adama. It was not a legal order because 1) the military doesn’t answer to the VP and 2) Gaeta was a mutineer. Those men and women made a choice to side with Zarek and Gaeta and unfortunately for them it was the wrong choice. The “I was just following orders” defense won’t work because there were many who didn’t. I’m sure most of them will get a free pass but there are a few who should not and if Adama is smart won’t.
The example has been made with Zarek and Gaius. Take Pegasus boy and put him in the brig. Anyone who killed a civilian, put on trial. Everyone else gets amnesty and a stern talking to.
That sounds like a Cylon sensitivity training too. Great idea. Oh that would have to be on top of their normal duties.

As for Gage, I’ve stated in the past that he needs killing. Still, there’s an interesting torment brewing for him. There will shortly be only one female cylon who is not a citizen of the colonies. Lay a hand on any of them without her permission, off to the brig if not worse. Not that Adama would react any differently if Gage got any ideas around Boomer, in spite of their history, but now it’s definite.
That’s a good argument for killing him in and of itself. And, I think he’s a danger to anything female anyway. Like I said, he needs killing.

In Real Life, far away from home and in a war zone, you’d have to deal with this with nothing less than the execution of all collaborators, and you’d be justified, imho. How do you trust someone who’s going to be carrying a weapon who last week had that weapon pointed at you?? I wouldn’t. Are you going to give the 10 or so soldiers, who were prepared to shoot Adama, back their rifles and say “Don’t do that again?” Hardly.
Prison ship, or death for all involved. And increase the darn security in Galactica! First a solo Starbuck makes it to the President’s/Adama’s quarters with a pistol, now the CIC is being overrun.
