I love Coast to Coast. I don’t get to listen to it that often because of the hours I work but I listen to it every chance I get, usually on the weekend since my local station plays it most of the night. I actually bought a video game for the 360 simply because Art Bell’s voice plays over the radio in one scene.
Yeh, Coast to Coast is great. Even if you don’t believe anything on the show it is still a great way to keep yourself open to all possibilities. Kinda like a Twilight Zone for the radio. Just watch your back so the Men in Black don’t get you.
And the Kingdom of Nye is just an hour’s drive west from Las Vegas. If we ever succeeded in having a meet-up in Las Vegas, a trip out to the radio station owned by Art Bell would definitely be a good agenda item. Almost went out to Pahrump yesterday but we decided against.
I’ve only ever heard one story that I simply could not believe to be anywhere within the realm of possibility and that was this recording from a group who said they drilled so far down and stuck a mic down the hole and recorded hell. I don’t remember the specifics other than it made me look at the radio and go what the frak? Even with what little I remember of my science courses it just sounded way to outrageous to be true.
Hva any of you guys ever heard of Nobody’s Listening? its hilarous
Might i also add playing for keeps
my list is mostly video game related but some others.
Video games
EQ2’s day: love to listen to this live
Massively: the podcast to the website Massively (MMOs)
No Prisoners, No Mercy: I am not the biggest fan of the show but the fact 2 real life nuns do this podcast about playing Warhammer is to trippy not to listen to.
RetroForce Go: If you loved playing games on the NES or any games from back in the 16 bit days this is a great podcast.
Shut up were talking: great round table discussions on topics regarding video games.

Hey! I just finished listening to EQ2’s day…well…Abba is still playing in the outro so I guess I haven’t officially finished.
Virginworlds is awesome as well.
Hey, I was intrigued by Secrets of Battlestar Galactica… is it a Catholic-based podcast? Way cool…
PS I recommend this on your ipod for your daily meditation http://www.pray-as-you-go.org/
Newest addition to my podcast repetoire: How stuff works. Holy craaaaaaaaaap…I highly recommend this to everyone. Funny, insightful, intelligent and thought provoking…this is stuff you need to know. From “How to survive a plane crash” to “How Habeas Corpus works” this is essential to everyone.
I’ve recently added the Toolmonger podcast. Even more Chuck and Sean banter for my week! And I get to learn things to improve my woodworking skills. And how not to get your finger chopped off by your plunger router…
If you haven’t already, also add, “One beer podcasts” also by said individuals. Incredibly informative info and funny.
Yep, got that one too! I’ve even taken to visiting the site everyday. It amazes me how much this “Sean O’Hara” guy posts there…
THIS, is something I will have to check out.
Two what?
Do what?
OK, have to give that one a listen.
I started listening to a show called Axed. It is the funniest podcast out of the 120 i listen to…next to GWC i mean hehe

The 4th Age Podcast (A Wheel of Time podcast)
This WEEK in TECH
MacBreak Weekly
The Official LOST Podcast
ExtraLife Radio
The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe
The Transmission (Lost podcast)
SkyNext Terminator Podcast
Giant Bombcast
Joystiq podcast
Gamers With Jobs
The 9th - A Heroes podcast
Galactica Watercooler
PC Gamer Podcast
YSDC: Walker in the Wastes (This is a weekly recorded [Call of Cthulhu] roleplaying game)
Idle Thumbs
Rebel.FM (the new podcast from the 1UP FM people)
I used to listen to the 10th Wonder podcast, but the overwhelming hype finally ticked me off and I unsubscribed. They couldn’t say a single negative thing about the show when the episodes were horrible. I also listened to This Week in Science. I loved Justin and Dr Kiki, but I hated the radio show format and found a better sciency podcast - The Skeptics’ Guide to the Universe. Some of my favorite gaming podcasts went under along with 1up.com and Ziff Davis(1UP Yours, 1UP FM, GFW Radio and Retronauts).
Also I highly recommend listening to old episodes of the GFW Radio. It was the best gaming podcast, bar none. It literally made me laugh out loud and on a crowded bus to boot.
You should look at the (infrequently updated) Calls for Cthulhu.

I’ve mentioned this in one of the show threads, but Brilliant Gameologists is worth a listen (with headphones, they have a really raunchy sense of humor.)
I’ll check it out. Weird that they’re not on itunes. So did you like GFW back in the day?
Not so weird, iTunes is strangely finicky sometimes. A lot of my favorite casts don’t show up there.
I have only recently started paying attention to RPGing again. It’s been about twenty years since the last time I did. So, I missed a lot of things, and GFW is one.
